Why i don't think its a ban, well because people with even the Official Blu Ray Disc, and official firmware on there PS3 are even receiving this error.

1st Opinion: Temp Server Downs
-Treyarch took the servers down, for the people who where playing 2-3 days before the release date. He did say he would not ban early players, but he never said anything about the servers being down for us :whistle:


2nd Opinion: Server's just aren't working for everyone
- I called Activision, and they said that the servers for Black Ops II go on and off, and they're reloading all the servers for the midnight release today.The guy also told me they didn't ban anybody YET.


3rd Opinion: Sony & Treyarch are working together.
- Yes i said it. I sat down and thought about it. So many 3.55 CFW users today got PERMA BANNED on PSN. You think "wow what perfect timing, the day before black ops II release.
Treyarch could of told Sony to ban all the 3.55 CFW. If your on 4.30 CFW, You still aren't banned, because they see your on 4.30, they don't know if your on ofw OR cfw. While playing online with 3.55, Sony can easily access what firmware you are on, and if your on 3.55 your PERMA BANNED. (As of now)
Treyarch could of told Sony about the pirated copies, and for them to do something about it.

Tell me if you're still getting the server error, also tell me if your playing online with the ACTUAL disc, not a backup. Or tell me if your playing online with a backup.

But i thought they were not banning no one that got it early.

well i have a legit version and i still cant get online.it let me play online for a few mins then all i get is servers temp offline

Sony has your consoleID which shows your firmware lol and they have your serial number.

Loads of people seem to forget when Black Ops was hard freezing the Ps3. I think it's just a repeat of that but on a worse scale. Before it would freeze in games, now we get frozen before we have even pressed anything.

i have legit disk and it keeps freezing and saying the servers are unavailable at this time i was banned on black ops 1 would that be why and my hardened edition codes wont work anyone help me thanks

nah. thats not it. i was banned from blops 1 too and im able to play bo2 using the same acct. playing on an ofw ps3 though.

1 of my mates cant play though. he cant get past the loading screen. it just freezes up and he has to turn the whole thing off. he said he was able to play for a few mins and then he got kicked and it said servers are down...
he's using an owf ps3 too. his laser goes mental while its trying to load though. i tried his disc in 2 other ps3s and it works. tried diff acct on his ps3, no dice.
anyone else having that issue?
