However mine isn't stupid and I actually have a legitimate story to believe that I've been console banned for Black Ops.



I modded Black Ops 1 a while ago. A few months ago. I got banned from it. I hated Black Ops 1, so I didn't care.

Then that day comes. The release of Black Ops 2.

I get the game, I start it up on my OFW PS3 (4.30). I start up multiplayer and I'm playing around with the settings. I lags a lot, like a 3 second spike every minute. I ignore it and then my PS3 freezes.

I restart my PS3 and restart the game. The servers are offline, and I see my friends playing. I think to myself I'm banned.

I restart the game and it still won't connect to the servers, the servers are down.

I go on my other accounts and they can't connect.

I restart BO2 on my main account once again, the game freezes before the intro video of the game. Everytime.

I go on my other accounts, it doesn't freeze.

I go on my brothers PS3. BO2 works fine. I go on my secondary accounts and I can connect to the servers! They're online! But it said they were down on my PS3, but not his.

I go on my main account on his PS3.

I start up BO2, freezes before the intro video, once again. But it doesn't freeze on the other accounts.


Anyone want to tell me what's up?

Thats normal.When you got frozen maybe you got a corrupt data on your user acc (im not talking about your online id)im talking about the user you creat to sign with your SEN acc.It happens sometimes , Try to delete the user and sign in again with your acc, if that dosnt work you need to wipe HDD .

I'm not banned on black ops cannot play on my ofw 4.31 or my cfw 4.30. I cannot play on my main and I cannot play on any accounts I make. They cannot ban you for what you done on black ops 1 they would have to let you know that you could not play it. Otherwise they would be selling you something that doesn't work even without a warning or any mention of it in the Guideline of conduct. Ok it says if you modify black ops 2 you will get banned, but not if you modded black ops 1 it would carry over.

The only thing I did was go to multiplayer. I shouldn't have a save for the game. I didn't even play an online match.

I deleted the game patch, tried it. Still froze.
I even updated to 4.31 and it still froze after that. But the other accounts work fine and don't freeze.

Try doing what i said.Delete the user that you got your SEN acc in.After that put your acc again.The game is new and needs a new updated ,i got a few frezzes to thats nothing to do with ban etc.

You're talking about a few freezes. I'm talking about a freeze every time. 100% positive it will freeze.
I deleted the user, and made a new one. Still didn't work.

Ok so we need to wait for a new update,and see what happens they will fix that,btw i had to wipe my HDD that update screw my HD and i got a corrupt data or something(well it migth be my ps3,i dont now)

nope, no console ban i put bo2 disc in my 4.30 ofw and tried to play it, worked fine, i started a game of tranzit and 1 second after the bus horn went off boom i get banned and then i tried my other ps3 of 4.31 ofw and it just said status error

Try staying logout until you get to multiplayer menu then sign in works for me for the freezing but I get the server error and I played for 5 mins in zombies before I got kicked also I am banned on BO1 if that matters
