I was going to make a thread with a temporary fix that worked for friends of mine.

On PS3 if you can't join lobbies and get error message, try making a new PSN ot just use older account not yet used on Black Ops 2 and you'll be able to find matches.
I nor any of my friends have modded PS3, cfw, hacks, etc so this HAS NOTHING TO DO WITH BO1 bans.

Update: Friend told me eventually the new account got that error too...

I'm having the same problem. Hope to get a fix soon. It's been like this for over 24 hours... I contacted tech support about it and they said they're aware of the problem and they're working on it.... right.

All I did was went and played a game of zombies and now it's working. I don't know if that was the fix, or the timing was just right, but I'm on.
