I always feel biggest difference between decent COD players and bad COD players is common sense above all. Now however, I question the common sense and comprehension level of some of us here at NGU.

1. You have the intelligence to hack or mod but can't understand a ban in BO1 doesn't carry over to BO2?

2. Calling Activision support line is about as pointless and desperate as calling Facebook support line if their website is down.
They know the issue and won't give you an exact time for a fix.

3. I am pissed because I waited in(an hour but still) and I want to play and I understand everyone's anger. However it's obvious server issues are the problem. So being angry is fine and warranted but it's not like support can give us an exact solution or time because the solution lies in their hands.

4. Blaming Sony or Microsoft is like blaming your cable company when Netflix is down. Especially if other people are experiencing same Netflix issues and Netflix acknowledges the issues.

5. NO ONE IS BANNED. I understand anger, this thread is partly based off anger dealing with freezing and annoyance from 8+ threads with all these ban related conspiracy threads.

So keep using Google and hope these bastards fix their issues. Until then use some common sense. You're just giving Activision support something to laugh at. A patch or something is all we can hope for.

I agree with the thread. You constantly see people blaming Microsoft and people blaming Sony when those two companies have nothing to do with the demonware servers that Activision use. In the end people need to realize that waiting is the only thing that you can do.

The thing is I got on NGU earlier to rant about servers and to talk about multiplayer.

I felt better and less ridiculous after reading like 8 threads about how every is banned.

I doubt even 1/4 of people got banned on BO1 so to see all these threads almost refusing to accept the servers were messed up. Paranoia at it's worst. I almost thought people were joking. If people were banned that would explicitly say you're banned. They wouldn't beat around the bush and be vague about "server" issues.



Wow, luckily they had common sense to presume servers were screwy instead of potentally buying a brand new console.

No. You only get banned by individual games. Black Ops 2 is a new game. I couldn't imagine the lawsuits if this wasn't the case.

It's funny how people say "server unavailable" doesn't equal ban. Though if you've ever hacked zombies or used a mod menu to get prestige 15 on black ops. You would get a "server unavailable" error (that equaled account ban), which would be remedated by creating a new account. Not saying this is a ban considering the BO2 servers are overloaded, but it seems a bit like it. Only time will tell. Now don't flame me, just giving my opinion and thoughts about this.
