Vonderhaar recently revealed how Treyarch plans to address weapons and other 'Pick 10' class elements that the community finds to be too powerful.
He shared that weapons won't be nerfed or buffed if the change is not statistically warranted. The community may feel the weapon is overpowered, however, if the weapon statistics don't support the claims, the weapon will remain unchanged.
However, Vonderhaar did go on to say that Treyarch can track all weapons and see if they are trending towards being classified as overpowered by monitoring the global user statistics for that weapon.
Vonderhaar did acknowledge that handguns and stuns are noticeably stronger than the original Black Ops, but commented that they are likely to remain the same because they each consume 1 slot of the 'Pick 10' system.
Treyarch is likely to support Black Ops 2 long after release with multiplayer re-balances and fixes. How do you feel about the current state of the weapons, and the 'Pick 10' system in general?

In terms of weapons they are pretty balanced. What feeds into the balance issues is the map design which means unless you camp with some ARs they suck.
In terms of perks......only ones which are weak are the sound based perks.
Nice to see they are using a new system this time around. Hopeful shotguns are improved > _ > hipfire spread first please.
