(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); Now i know there are a few threads talking about nuketowns removal but I just want to hear you guys reason why you think treyarch would move one of if not the most popular gamemode(next to tdm) for no reason at all?

The only thing i can see is that nuketown was the best way to get xp/ high kill streaks and unlock the camos quicker,because of how condensed the map is.Thus making players bored of the game sooner and making them put it down sooner or not buy future dlc.Also It turned the attention from every other map since 50k-120k players at any given time were focusing on 1 map.From a buisness perspective this is bad because no one would want to buy the new maps that are dew out since this map has everything most players like(close quaters,easy kills,easy to obtain all killstreaks,All weapons are well on it due to the minimal range ect)Taking it out scatters the 100k+players there for increasing the likely hood of buying future maps even if 10% of these 100k buy a future map thats a extra 60k in their pocket for taking out a map with minimal consiquence.

that is the only reason why i could see them removing it and even that is a very weak explination.

So what are your thoughts?

I personally only played nuketown never played any other maps

i only plyed nuketown it was the only map keeping me going on this shit map ive hit 4th prestige already playing that map, now its gone i might just scrap the game, its shit now what a ridiculous idea! fucking hate it now, if they dont bring it back that me gone... rant over. for now!....

I dont understand why they would remove it.Obvious it was a very popular mode with over 100k players okaying it.On bar with tdm which will Always be the most popular game mode.So from a buisness perspective what reason would make them remove it?The only thing that makes sense is that it was drawing to much attention from the rest of the game and in preticular the future download content since it was the best close quaters map and hard to camp on(even the window campers could easly get taken out).

i personally hate CoD now they just get worse every year and the devs claim their listening to the fans, but their obviously not.

I still don't get it. Plus, in that Gameplay Update they also removed the Double XP and some say they included an automatic download patch, dunno. Anyways, answering to topic, they might have removed it for the reason you said.

Yeah thats the only reason why I could see them removing it so quickly as I was already starting to get bored with endless nuketown as the high kill streaks were pretty easy to come across in that map.It all translates into less profit for them and their is a very low consiquience for them removing it.We really have no power over them we might all threaten to quit or sue but you cant win against a company that makes a billion dollars from 1 game and if we quit dont matter we already gave them our money so its win win for them lose lose for us
