(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); A quick update on the current "Server Unavailble Error" that has hindered thousands of PS3 users from accessing the online multiplayer servers since the release of Black Ops II.

Treyarch have recently launched their latest update 1.03 on the Playstation console for their newly released game Black Ops II. This latest update included fixes for some highly noted bugs and glitches, along with somewhat improvements to the match making servers and the constant freezing issues. But this update did not address what is arguably the biggest problem to the game so far which is the "Server Unavailable Error". This issue has sent a majority of the Call Of Duty community into havoc. This error has prevented thousands of PS3 users from accessing the online multiplayer feature. But I assure you that we are not alone.

David Vonderhaar, Game Design Director @Treyarch has gone to his twitter page to address the current situation and had this to say, "We are investigating something with our partners at Sony" along with this statement "Still investigating".

I have personally reached out to Activision Support, who stated "We are aware of this issue and have alerted the Game Design team at Treyarch. They are working endless nights to resolve the issue". He went on to say "We assure you that the servers are up and running to the majority of users".

All we can do in the meantime is hope the servers get fixed and say active on @DavidVonderhaar. I know he occasionally tweets utter nonsense, but every now and then he tweets relevant intel.

they are never going to fix this or atleast not for a few months, they just say theyre doing something about it but they are just ignoring it till later, this is probably part of the xbox contract and they will probably just fix it in a few months after everyone buys an xbox :fa:

But like @DavidVonderhaar said they are still investigating these issues with Sony. And people have had these errors from day one. Treyarch may not have found the cause yet, which is delaying the fix.

Most people did also believe that the 1.03 update was gonna fix these problems. Treyarch are probably still investigating the cause of the error and from there, they can work on possible solution. Treyarch will try ensure that this kind of downtime won't happen again so they are working on a permanent and solid fix. i'll update you when I know more.

Occasionally my ass. every one of his tweets the past few days has been nothing but nonsense, and no updates on what the hell is going on. personally, i'm very disappointed with Treyarch... they went from developing a great game like W@W, which had little to no trouble to start with, to Bo2, which is a major fucking mess.

Well I'm glad they've addressed the issues users have been facing, but they are still players who aren't able to connect.
Lets hope it all goes well. Smile
