Treyarch have recently launched their latest update 1.03 on the Playstation console for their newly released game Black Ops II. This latest update included fixes for some highly noted bugs and glitches, along with somewhat improvements to the match making servers and the constant freezing issues. But this update did not address what is arguably the biggest problem to the game so far which is the "Server Unavailable Error". This issue has sent a majority of the Call Of Duty community into havoc. This error has prevented thousands of PS3 users from accessing the online multiplayer feature. But I assure you that we are not alone.
David Vonderhaar, Game Design Director @Treyarch has gone to his twitter page to address the current situation and had this to say, "We are investigating something with our partners at Sony" along with this statement "Still investigating".
I have personally reached out to Activision Support, who stated "We are aware of this issue and have alerted the Game Design team at Treyarch. They are working endless nights to resolve the issue". He went on to say "We assure you that the servers are up and running to the majority of users".
All we can do in the meantime is hope the servers get fixed and say active on @DavidVonderhaar. I know he occasionally tweets utter nonsense, but every now and then he tweets relevant intel.
