No, the statement doesnt contradict itself. I clearly stated that the leaves look similar and the plant looks different. A plant and a leaf are completely different. It's like saying an orange tree looks like a lemon tree, lol. Just because the fruit looks the same doesn't mean the tree it comes from does. Make sense?

Out of boredom I attempted to find plants which look similar to Cannabis leaves. I found a couple but have been unsuccessful in finding any that grow in Burma. I assume chances are 3arc didn't take the time to be regional correct in where plants grow.

You see that's where you are wrong. It is a marijuana plant because it looks pretty much exactly like a Ruderalis (which is cannabis.) The difference is that it only produces few and small buds so it's not really cultivated for drug use. It's a common misconception because the world really only knows about marijuana plants from the Sativa and Indica species.

Meatwad went a step further, but the plant itself isn't the important part. The leaves contain all the symbolism.
