i'm just wondering how many of you play hardcore?

I have started playing it to try and get the SVU gold, and this TDM on HighJacked had some of the worst players I have ever seen! Sitting in corners, spraying etc

Do you guys play hardcore? if so, do you often get games like this happening to you?

I tried playing it but I felt like the people who play it camp too much. Or maybe I just didn't camp enough, but either way it just wasn't for me.

used to but the more i played the more i came across cheap tactics like you said spraying randomly, then when a stray bullet hit me im dead. sometimes its was unplayable, but this was in cod4 & early w@w days, since then ive been core only to avoid this

No skill? I wouldn't go that far with it...

I played it a few times back on the older Call of Duty's. It sucks just like you said. Nobody knows how to play the game, everyone just sits and waits. I run around like a manic and spray everyone and still keep a 1.75 K/D ratio.

Hell no. I respect the mode as it's the most realistic and lots of ex service guys I know like it.

It's a camper paradise but why the hell wouldn't it be? On MW3 I would kill people cross map with MP9. On BO1 I got an attack dog care package on hardcore though, now THAT was enjoyable.

Hardcore and maybe Search is the only playlists I have zero issue with people camping as rushing isn't conducive to a mode where even your teammates can kill you if they sneeze your direction.

HC is paint drying boring buy saying it takes no skill is a stretch. You don't have a HUD(most of time), realistic bullet damage including teammates and no kill cam. Just because it's boring and slow doesn't mean it doesn't take skill.

I stick to the core game-modes and I rarely ever play a hardcore game. I usually avoid hardcore because of teamkillers, an abundance of campers and people who refuse to play the objective (this is present in core but is also very much applicable to hardcore because people die much faster on the domination flags and would rather not ruin their K/D).

i stopped playing hardcore in BO2 with the exception of S& because it doesnt have game modes like domination,KC,HQ,etc. instead we get CTF which IMO is a pain in the ass because there are so many campers :mad:
