(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); Hey guys, I have a video here that explains why skill should not be a factor during matchmaking. I would tell you guys the synopsis of the video, but I'm short on time and the video is relatively short, concise, and non-biased. It's 4 minutes watch the whole thing, he has some great points that Treyarch should consider. If I have a 2+ K/D I shouldn't be limited to playing against that top 1 percent of Call of Duty players that also hold a 2.00+ K/D. I guarantee that when you play against people with 500+ SPM and 2.00 K/D's nobody in the lobby is having an enjoyable experience... I gave you guys a short rundown of the video lol. Also remember how you guys got good at CoD; you didn't play against bad players when you were bad, you played against good players that motivated you to beat them and do better and equipped you with the skills you have now! -__-

This whole anti skill based matchmaking surprises me.

The people in opposition of it are implicitly saying they are tired of only playing good players. It'd be like a girl admitting she hangs with fat chicks to look more appealing lmaon

I enjoy beating up on scrubs as much as the next guy but it's just weird people would openly admit the wanna play scrubs. I understand but wow.

My biggest gripe is it leads to more lag. There are ways to get around it though.

I completely agree with you, but if you want to play against people with the same skill level play League Play or do Game Battles. Wasn't the intention of League Play to put great players in a well suited environment that places them in games with other people who have the same set abilities; creating a competitive environment?

Don't get me wrong I enjoy playing against good players as well, but facing them tirelessly 24/7 is maddening especially when you're doing really well and they leave because they're not accustomed to playing poorly. That's the part that infuriates me. I could care less about not facing scrubs every game, it's the fact that good people play well and when they don't they inevitably leave lol.

At least now, doing well in public matches gives you a higher sense of accomplishment because you're obviously doing something right beating people that are good at the game haha. Nevertheless I will still play the game and enjoy it for what it is lol, guess you have to adapt! Look at the bright side, good players are getting even better haha.

I agree. I don't mind playing good kids every now and then..but I'm a thorough rusher and objective player so my SPM is above average players. I am consistently running into these people who camp for KD. That makes the game less enjoyable for me

I enjoy beating up on noobs and I expect Christmas 2012 will be easy pickings.

I'm just saying it takes guts to admit you don't wanna play good players.

What really sucks is clans and good players generally leave after a beating. Noobs will stay and get raped all night long. That's what I love about em.

Yeah, I would rather just random people each game so you would not have to try your best all the time and not have fun. Some games it's fun to get in a lobby with people who aren't that good and sometimes it's fun to beat people who are trying their hardest to win. But only sometimes it good to have an easy lobby now and again.

Today Will Be Different
My only gripe with skill based matchmaking is that I get matched with tons of tryhards like myself. I don't constantly want to be on the edge of my seat keeping an intense pace just to pull out a win. Sometimes I want to relax and casually play Call of Duty. Hopefully I am not the only who has experienced this aspect of the skill based matchmaking.

Well its there to give n00bs a better time on this game. Just think off it from the developer view. They want that most off the community is happy about the gameplay. And i think 95% on COD are just simply bad players. So they want that they keep buying COD's and have a decent experience. To face it down the good players are a minority on COD and the developers wont listen to them. Only downside off this game is the horrible lag compensation which makes it near unplayable.

I defeated!
I find public matches in this game more frustrating than any other cod. Every game is a grind as your constantly coming up against good people with full partys so its intense. I find league play more fun than the public games there is less frustration and you have everything unlocked so you can experiment with classes.
