I've never seen Treyarch actually give anyone a ban. I know that if you dashboard/PS quit too many times within a certain amount of time then you get 'probation' which is like a 5 minute ban up to 2 weeks which was stupid because people that have a bad connection or legitimately have to leave the game are getting punished, never received 1 myself though but I know many people have.
I've never known them to actually go and review game footage for evidence of glitching/boosting etc and then ban someone, obviously someone that magically appears at max prestige in the first day will likely be banned but this far into the game prestige glitching is still rife, I still see many boosters and I was having a great time with the unlimited war/death machine ammo glitch, several reports and i'm not banned.
People don't help treyarch with this policy though because I've been reported for 'hacking' lot's of times when I've never hacked the game, We'd just have a uav or vsat and I'd see them coming and pre-aim on the corner and kill them instantly, it's smart play not an aim bot.
I've heard this same strict policy since MW2 and I've never seen any of it enforced.

The team that handle bans etc are a complete joke!
I recently got banned and reset for no reason at all.

I was prestige master, had most camos and had done this
Over approx 8months and all legit, however one day out of the
Blue I tried logging in to find I was banned. I contacted the support team
Responding to the ban given and got told that I couldn't be told what I was banned for,
The length of the ban or even despite it even tho I provided clear proof that I hadn't broken
Any rules etc. hence why I've joined this site, if your going to be labeled a cheater etc then why not
Haha plus ill be damned if I'm gonna do all that work again lol

There should be a rule where under 18's aren't allowed to play lol

Nice to see the rules out there like that but I don't think they're in effect as much as one might think. Then again, if COD wasn't inappropriate, how much fun would it be to hear everyone saying "Good Game" or "Nice try" after they tube you in the face?
