Worse than I expected execution wise. About what I expected gameplay wise.

I have to say that BO2 definitely lived up to my expectations. MW3 was such a disappointment to me it wasn't even funny..I found myself not playing that game anymore after January because it already bored me because like most said...it was just MW2.5. With BO2 I was expecting it to at least be better than MW3 but I wasn't too sure with the whole "futuristic setting" but I was very wrong about that. I love how they made it so you honestly don't feel like you're too far into the future...I know I am still playing COD and not Halo.

Also just the fact that they changed almost everything around really adds to the new experience. It's about time a developer completely revamped the Create-A-Class and it looks like this time they did it right!

I had very high expectations for this game since it was a Treyarch game and I personally think that World at War and Black Ops I were the most fun Call of Duties in the series. I had no doubt that Treyarch wouldn't disappointing with Black Ops II. But, I think I probably had the bar set too high and Black Ops II just isn't there for me. So, it's a lot worse then my expectations were. That's being nice about it. But the game may have potential with time and patches.

Agreed. It's unplayable at times. A lot of COD players are bad so they are used to doing terrible and barely going positive. The connections are just horrendous for me. It isn't an issue of skill based matchmaking pitting me against better players because most people still aren't that good. My issue is the hit detection or lag is pitiful. You have to really hope you get a great lobby or almost play way too defensive. And like the thread I made the party system is so fucked up. Play solo and get thrown into losing battles or waste time dealing with keeping party together. It's early so I hope it improves. People talk down about MW3 but the hit detection and lag were never quite this bad.

I think some don't have these issues and enjoy the game l. There is a section of people who for some reason want to support 3arc unconditionally.

If you count up the ps3 players that can't play bc of on going errors and mess ups and in fact that you said it yourself it lags a quite bit more than Xbox. But it's the same game just different right?

The game is made for Xbox which on Xbox it's not a bad game at all.

Most balanced CoD (before the 1.04 ps3 patch, thats what i feel anyway)

I love it and think it is the best since CoD 4 and maybe better than it, I probably cant hop on cod 4 now and have as much fun as I would playing Black ops 2

I remember when this game was leaked, I thought this was the stupidest idea ever, with the futuristic shit.
IMO this is the best one yet. I rarely experience lag (and i'm on PS3.) I sometimes get a little lag but nothing that makes me rage. Overall I prefer this game over the others, except CoD 4 and W@W

Its a good game but they need to fix multiplayer and the lag issues and it will be amazing and they should have left Nuketown as a separate playlist.
