I find that when a host has lower stats then me, we get into games with a lesser skill base. That being sad, they are not the scrubby dubbies that I am use to stomping.

I'm not sure if it's 100% affective, but it should work to some extent.

I went on a second account when they were doing that free Xbox Live weekend thing and tried to ruin my stats on it. I think I had like a 0.1 something KD at level 15 or so with like a ~23 SPM. Anyways, I only tried to get into a game like 2 or 3 times and I was getting guys with 2.5 KDs on Prestige 2-4 and everything. So I just logged off and quit that project.

Maybe I just didn't try long enough.

No I dont think it works out to well I have terrible stats because I dont try I just get on to have fun and I always get matched up with people that have KD's of 1.00+ my KD is like 0.72 so I dont think it works that well

Anyways, I haven't personally tried it myself but I have heard a few others also mention that if their party leader has poor stats they tend to get put in lobbies with players that are matched with the host of their party.

I don't think it's based on 'average' stats (k/d ratio, SPM etc.), but on either playing time, rank, or total score, because I sometimes play with a friend who is a lower level, but has roughly the same stats than me. Whenever he is party leader, we seem to play against lower levels. When I am party leader (I'm only prestige 1 atm) I get paired up with higher levels.

Anyway, I don't think the skill-based matchmaking system actually works that well anyway - as I said, I'm only 1st prestige, yet I constantly get thrown into lobbies with people 6th prestige+, and yesterday I was in a lobby with a 10th prestige...
