M8A1 with quickdraw and/or stock is good. AN94 in full auto or 2 round burst is good. FAL SEMI AUTO is very good. Unless you have old man fingers you can pull the trigger on the FAL in single shot as fast as it is in full auto with way more accuracy. You could use B2R or Kap40 pistol to help in close quarters combat. Scar seems to be pretty decent as well. M27 seems to have like zero recoil but the damage feels like an ACR in MW2 without Stopping Power.



Maybe people use those guns to run around and realize the map designs favor SMGs. I love Assault Rifles myself but besides FAL, M8 and AN94 on most maps it is way more beneficial to use SMGs. Just because you like AR doesn't mean you have to create a Straw Man to justify it. That's like me saying you must be a camper because you use AR. The only thing people use to cover up how bad they are would be Target Finder.

A gun by itself doesn't make someone good or bad. To be honest you using Assault Rifles is good because it balances out what happens. They'll have an advantage on you up close but you'll have medium to long range advantage assuming you can aim and shoot effectively. The guns do exactly what they're supposed to do. The maps just favor SMGs mostly because of people bitching about campers and trying to force a playstyle of rushing on everyone. The SMGs in most COD games are actually pretty good it's just that the maps on previous games were bigger with less flank routes so AR were way more dominate. MW2's assault rifles could barely flourish in Black Ops 2 because of the maps.

I prefer the AN-94, only one I have really used though. The game is definitely SMG dominant.

Which AR is the best and combination/setup??!??! Hmmmmmmm - Well I got Diamond on my Assualts and this is a tough answer. But here we go...

USE G & TARGET FINDER with every AR!! TRUST ME it helps out A LOT!

I would stay away from the SWAT & SMAR. Those guns suck!!! But if you had to use them, make sure you put on Select fire for SWAT and G!

I recommend TYPE 25, FAL, Scar H, M8 & AN 94. You can't go wrong with these AR's. The FAL was a BEAST DURING CORE CLAN OPS/Challenges. But if you always play CORE, I highly recommend the M8A1. That gun does work and it has a SMG feel to it, so does the TYPE 25. The M27, is very accurate gun with very little recoil. The SCAR and the AN94 are a powerful guns but I highly recommend the G for the AN94.

My personal favorite/best AR is the Type 25 with G & Target Finder. I hope this helps and enjoy using the AR's because they were a pain to go through. CHEERS!!

I havent found the best assault weapon yet. The SCAR-H is pretty powerful but i noticed it slows me down
