4/5 of my classes are SMGs. The 5th is my assault rifle class. Here is the best 2 IMO:

Fal w/ Adjustable Stock and select fire.

But the class I use is M27 w/ suppressor, and reflex sight(or extended clip). Virtually no recoil w/ suppressor.

M8A1 Quickdraw

SN-94 (I think thats what it's called) with Suppressor and Quickdraw

The M8A1 (Full-Auto) is the best assault rifle in the game, I would go as far to claim it is overpowered on a four bar connection. The AN94 and Type-95 are tied in second place; both are incredibly versatile weapons, so they prove effective against any type of player on any type of map.

An-94 is the best assault rifle in my opinion.

Using Quickdraw, Red dot sight, Select fire with dexterity, toughness and then whatever you like, and fire it with burst unless you for example, are entering a house.

I got 130-0 on nuketown using it, and I haven't lost a single fair gunfight to anyone including the retards that use smgs.

SN-94 very good

MTAR and AN94 by far.
I picked up a M8A1 with Select fire/Suppressor once and that seemed good as well.

FAL + quickdraw + target finder + my evil controller.

I just recently tried the LMG with the most damage which is really good. I own SMG's with it, I really do but its more slow where with SMG you move heaps faster.
