I say this to say that I don't moan about campers really especially since good aggressive players pretty much always prevail and camping is subjective anyway. Plus if you rush there are another list of excuses like, "tryhard", "killwhore", "no life", etc.

The problem with Target Finder isn't just that it aids camping because not all Target Finder users camp...It's just like REALLY? LMGs are good weapons but let's be honest, most people who use LMGs just spray in a general direction until an enemy walks into a bullet. That's fine if 8% accuracy is your thing but with Target Finder you just add to how terrible these people are.

Things like Noobtubes, Deathstreaks, Second Chance and most people using SUPPORT WELFARE KILLSTREAKS in MW3 showed that people have no shame in what they use. That's fine, since I admittedly use "overpowered" guns however Target Finder is sad. I use Cold Blooded if need be but even with Cold Blooded the Target Finder still makes you a big red crosshair. Usual setup is LSAT + Target Finder or the very pathetic SMGs with Target Finder and maybe a grip.

You know my biggest issue with Target Finder guys??? They STILL USUALLY GO NEGATIVE. How the hell do you not pull a 2+ kd every game with a sight that seems to take away all recoil and put a big red box over a big fraction of the enemy team? I have about 20 target finder kills(all from pickups) and one time I was aiming up towards a window and this thing literally pointed down to an enemy on ground level, LMFAO. Target Finder even works through walls sadly.

Millimeter Scanner isn't as prevalent in use and it actually looks futuristic and cool but I'm sure at some point more people will be using that. So if you're going to use Target Finder, at least do well with it. Don't moan about campers, or people using "overpowered" SMGs and getting spawn trapped, killed by Lodestars, etc if you're using a Target Finder. I wouldn't say it's "overpowered" because like I said it won't make a bad player good and there are many disadvantages to using it especially since rushing with it is actually pretty stupid as well but if you use it I hope you step on a Lego tonight :evil:

What's ridiculous is people that have it as an attachment on their LMG's. It's WAY to OP. Especially in demolition, they will spawn trap the enemy team with LMG's & targetfinder's.

I use the target finder all the time mainly because the players on certian maps(carrier)blend in way to well with the background the target finder makes it easier on the eyes to spot them.I litterally could not play mw3 cause I could not tell where the players were because of the way they blended in.SO target finder helps me alot.And it zooms in to which is a nice feature.

On another note it doesn't matter if you use Target Finder "to stop campers" or because you have one bad eye from the time you saved some kittens from a burning building. You can't deny that target finder is inherently a noob attachment and most people that use it generally suck.

Nothing is an absolute obviously. Reminds me of when someone says split screen players suck and then that one guy comes along saying, "me and my friends beast on splitscreen."

If you're a good player that happens to use Target Finder ok but don't pretend like most people that use it aren't just scrubs spraying with an LMG in or out windows.

The main reason I use it is because in dark areas I cant make out people I do agree it is a noob attachment.Once I first used it I was surprised they put it in the game cause its the same as aimbot the area it shows someone is beyond far and I know someone is coming around a corner about half a second before they appear which gives a great advantage.Than its sights are the best in game as the little cross help and the fact that it zooms in for you.Thats also why I roll with emp grenades all the time cause I hate facing people with it.Even if im emped I can still use it cause you can just line up the barrel of the gun.

A guess you could call me a target finder noob but if you look at my playing time in mw3 you see its under a day because I could never ever see people no ideal why if its a tv setting or something.

Target Finders are annoying, lately I've noticed the people that use target don't move at all, some camp the entire game

The thing I don't like about it is that it takes away a lot of your peripheral vision

I didn't say the attachment was overpowered so how the hell am I even remotely blaming the attachment and not the user???. I spoke about the counter and how it essentially nerfs it more than counters it.

Also I actually am implictly claming the users and not the attachment. This very thread is blaming the users IN THE TITLE. I didn't blame the Treyarch, Obama, Mason or anyone but the users and I detailed an exact type of target finder user... Maybe you should read what I wrote instead of seeing I was talking bad about people slapping on aimbot and spraying rather ineffectively at that.

I go for objectives 100%. When i'm capturing a HQ. I don't gives 2 f*cks if you don't like my target finder on the FAL. I am in a more vulnerable position capturing HQ's so i need to protect myself.....Problem?
