..... I'll explain then.

1) Doesnt work properly, the amount of time i get shoot through the shield when face the guy head on is ridiculous, i mean come on i does even work for its basic function

2) Doesnt hit people when you melee them, this is just absolutly anoying i run at the guy (i melee) i lunge past him or at him, and don't get a hit, how is that fair when i need 100 kills (via shield bashing). It does work if there not moving.

3) Carnt be planted in most places, i mean how useful is a shield that can only be planted in the open? Image if you could plant in doorways, cut off enemy routes. (Would make this a very tactical weapon)

4) It can be defeted far to easy, as said before ots to easy to flank and destroy the shield a semtex stuck and its gone, (if you have flak jacket aswell this shouldt happen)

5) The shield can be destroyed, quiet simple it should not be able to be destroyed unless you plant it.

6) Doesn't cover enough of you, quiet simple if the shield was made bigger it would be alot better as it would cover uou and protect you more so its more useful.

7) Movement speed is far to slow it should be equal to SMg's so you canactual run at people and not have them run away.

These are my opinions on the shield and how i think to improve it, what is your take?

The assault shield doesn't suck, you all just suck at using it.
I've got an assault shield on about half of my classes.

No offense to anyone but my eyes light up when I see an Assault Shield guy because they generally suck. I could see the value in getting everything gold and/or diamond but I definitely don't like Assault Shield guys on my teams.

If they made it like boss10000 wanted it every lobby would be a noob in a window shooting through it with target finder, gross...

I did say if its planted it should be destroyable to make it useful but can be taken care of.

If you mean a guy with the shield and a mate behind him, then yes it should be OP cause thay would be team work, if a guy has the shield equiped it should not be able to be destroyed.

I got it gold yesterday legit, played Hardcore Kill Confirmed and I got it. I now have my Diamond specials legit. Here's how to get it gold

1. Get to the point where you could give a shit about your K/D

2. Play Hardcore, you will die a lot I was going like 8 and 20 I had one game where I got 17 kills and I almost shit a brick.

Does it count as it own category so you get gold and diamond together or does it count with the ballistic knife and crossbow?

In hardcore its a 1 bash kill but in normal it sucks I think it needs working on but it won't get fixed

Proof COD appeals to us all. I'd never expect to see someone arguing for an Assault Shield buff...
