It isn't any better at all. Probably just more users because of more prestiging and/or people grinding for diamond camo. It's the best SMG hands down up close but anywhere outside of that it's not so dangerous. I'd say it's 4th best SMG overall.

I used it every game but I've grown to dislike it, Trying to get Diamond ARs now too bad half of them suck..

PROTIP if you want it to be a killing machine use it with extended mags,grip (i know some people say that grip sucks but it really helps) and long barrel. this setup helped me to get the gold camo pretty fast

i think its op.. wen i see my killcam and get killed by the skorpion i see no recoil what so ever and it has medium range even though its a cqc weapon im like it doesnt do that when i pik it up

It has an insane Rate of Fire that will help you destroy people at close range. Its only downfall is that its range is somewhat weak and it is a lot harder to pick someone off from afar with it compared to a gun like the MSMC.

Scorpian is defiently the best sub machine gun in bl2.

yeah that gun rapes everythings face repeatedly

Just started using Scorpion, its a total beast for close range and taking out multiple targets.

(try putting rapid fire with the scorpion, will always win a close range fight but will be horrible after like 2 meter)
