why does xbox get the "join session in progress" for randoms and in custom games, can enable "invite only" whilst you cant do it on ps3?
its been like this in black ops 1 also and it pisses me off.

Exactly the same way as COD4 on xbox and join session, and Ps3 didn't, and that was infinity ward.

The second part of what he is asking CAN indeed be done on the PS3. The only thing you can't do is join a person's session unless you're friends. Which would be a nice feature but only people who really want to do that are those looking to join really lower level players to get easier noobs to kill.

Wouldn't blame Sony or Treyarch in that particular regard. Especially since MW3(infinity ward I know but still) they removed they disabled the ability to join a friend's session without an invite. That wasn't a Sony issue since BO1 and now BO2 allow it. Maybe the OP's first question COULD have been implemented. It's probably not a big enough deal to make a thread about a potentially start any stupid console war conversation that is sure to follow...

Ps3 users have always been shafted and always will. Psn is greedy thats why we dont have a contract with them. We dont get to backup game disc incase of your game scratching nor can we change our psn names. Im starting to not like ps3 tbh.

off topic but, why would you need to back up you know how hard it is to scratch a blu ray disk, you need to take something sharp to it to actually scratch it

um thats not true at all because my disc is scratched and i barely even used to play the game. and because if you back it up you can still play it if the game is scratched.

i dont know what you do with your games, but never have i scrathed the disks,

It has something to due with the deal Microsoft had with Activison, but the problem is that Call of Duty is made on xbox 360 then is ported to ps3 and PC, and doesn't go through much testing in the ports.

That's the Activision as a whole, not just Treyarch .
