Cake is a lie
The only decent use of a jump shot would be a jump around corners to make yourself a harder target. The jump dropshot is the same.

Jumping while a guy is already shooting you is dumb lol. You want a sensitivity of at least 7 to help with doing any of this. Lower would make it harder to stay on target if enemy moves.

i'm using sensitivity 14.
i mean not just jump around the corner,
in any game now, there are more and more guys just jumping in a normal 1v1 battle. to make them harder to hit (while aiming and shooting)
i could do these things in CoD4 times too, but now i can't handle this organisation with my hands anymore -.-

Well in a cqc 1v1 drop shot is way better than jump shots. Drop shooting makes you go prone which makes you a smaller target. Jump shooting doesn't really make you smaller, just distraction. Strafing or hip firing especially with Dexterity are all better than jump shooting. Not saying jump shot wouldn't be effective but a guy drop shotting seems like a harder target than a guy Halo jumping in my opinion.

its really easy lol, just get on target, then press jump really quick and refocus, kinda pointless though, i do it sometimes but most of the time people kill you so fast combined with the delay, it's ineffective, you die in midair but in the killcam you die right as you leave the ground. also some people play with a different grip on the controller to let them jump while shooting, as well as modded controllers with a jump button on the back.

but really hardly anyone jumps lol, just aim better, 14 sensitivity is unnecessary and only for showoff when you spin. 10-11 is enough to turn on anyone or probably lower if you play more competitively against better people, your aim wont turn to garbage under pressure

Yes many kids are using Scuf controllers, easy to do jumpshots and its a very good controller aim, grip, jumpshot, etc..

people jump as its ment to take extra damage to kill you in the lower body area, if someone is shooting at you and you jump thats dumb as the aim assist will keep it fixed on you.

My only tip is jumping and surprising a enemy will mess with their aim assist and potentially mess their aim up. ive noticed this since w@w with the first aim assist, its nothing new really.

In Flames Much?
Due to the Stance penalty and moving penalty it not worth using unless at close range. Or you know a person is coming and want to surprise them.
When doing it you are hit twice by the penalty one for changing stance and two for moving.

Allow me to explain.
When you move or change stance you are hit by a penalty in accuracy, the penalty is a bigger cross hair box. The Maximum/Minimum is changed of the circle that on top of the bullet spread. The result is unlike some of the older games it impossible to hit shots at longer ranges when changing stance and moving.
You used to have a penalty when Aim down sights (ADS) it would not hit the minimum value until a certain timeframe this was removed.

It's a tactic that only useful in some cases , to make it easier to hold your controller a different way. One method is using the claw grap , once you got the muscle memory for it down should be easy. Just need to practice and learn when it's useful. Don't jump shot that often due to how quickly gun fights end it's pointless.
I can do it on default and any other setup muscle memory ftw.

Fun fact : All the guns have different Maximum/Minimum some share the same numbers at different times.

Another side to the coin too , it changes your hitbox location. Which could help win the gun fight in your favour.

People who jump shot most of the time have a scuf controller. (You can find more information about them here You must login or register to view this content.)

I use tactical layout and I jump shot. You just have to get used to jumping and aiming at the same time Smile
