(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); Many of you most of noticed the "Probation" system that Treyarch has introduced into Black ops 2, and I personally think it's good, but in another way, bad.

Reason why it's bad: If you get a probation warning (Ie. Exiting a match during the session, aka "Rage quitting"), you must complete games fully, no matter what happens. That's where it gets bad, for example if you get disconnected and/or kicked for whatever reasons (Afk, Team-Killing), this counts towards the system as an early leave, leading to an issue of Probation which lasts roughly 5 minutes, locking you out of multiplayer playlists. If they were to fix the problem, and didn't include being disconnected due to lost connection, or being kicked due to AFK, I honestly wouldn't have a problem with it.

To be honest, I personally like this system, so people would stop leaving their teams halfway through the game, just because they aren't doing well. These people need to realize they aren't just ruining it for themselves, but for the team as well, who is now short one player.

I usually get probation when I'm usually put in a game with horrible connection. But I'll admit, I usually leave plenty of games if I'm doing horrible, but almost every CoD player does that. If they just limited probabtion to players who leave, or team kill constantly (Unless the team kills are accidents), then the system would be ok, but for now, it's horrible especially for players who join lobbies with horrible hosts & connections.

Plus, 5 minutes goes by quickly; Grab a snack, watch some TV or check up on NGU.

People will rage quit regardless. This system punishes the poor souls who join a game late when their team is getting annihilated with no chance of winning. Punishes players for others' mistakes.

i never got probation ? so have no clue how it actually is

It's a good probation system but there are fews games where it merges my 3 friends in a game being raped and have to just backout and eventually we will be on probation system.

i like the idea, seeing as ive never quit a game since, mw2, as i bearly lose i dont quit, but yes it sucks to be kicked but ive never been kicked so many times in a row to get probation,

my only problem is when people keep quiting, whats a 5min ban to them ? why not make it leave 4-5 in an hour 1hr ban 6-8 24hour ban, pc games do it but then again there on dedi servers

why would u even ban them in the first place? its ridiculous and pointless, personally I don't have blackops but I know for a fact on the ps3 the matchmaking is poor, so what does one do when he finds a shit lobby? He leaves, but is then forced to wait 5 minutes. By extending the wait, will decrease the amount of potential users for the next game, especially drastically as you put it (hours?! seriously? lol). Fair enough it's a game, but you bought it, you shouldn't have to suffer and wait because of some idiot with a shit connection, and I have raged quit in other COD's, so I doubt this will make people calmer, or make them stop rage quitting, personally I have anger issues, so if I have to wait for a lobby because the lobby was full of MLG snipers then it will make me angry, and I will end up playing either killzone or battlefield, rather than COD. Atleast with those games they don't force you to wait.

you don't get probation for leaving 1 game lol.. even 5 in a row probably you won't unless you're some chronic quitter. if you're so bad that you need to constantly leave lobbies to do well, then it would do you good to stay in them instead :|

I wouldnt leave my game if 80% of the time they get me into a already started game where my team losing like 190-0
