If it's a party talking trash then quit then yeah but if you're raping someone of course you hate them quitting. It's a selfish feeling that we all share. When I'm raping and someone quits I don't think they are poor sports, I'm just mad I got 50 kills instead of 70 lol.
I wanna believe you but I generally play in 6+ man parties and the minute we start dominating they'll scream "campers" or "hackers". To many people automatically default to calling people camper whenever they get beat or have bad games. We'll have Orbital VSATs up and rush around the map however if two enemies are coming AND I see them I may wait til both run past to take them out, is that camping?
Point is camping is used as an excuse too much. Playing alone against a party is bad news because 6 people may rush while 2-3 play defensive but most will forget the 8+ times rushers killed to complain about 2 times camper killed them...
So if you get owned by a team where every is rushing you don't quit? If guys get Swarms, etc and dominate by rushing you won't quit?
I play the same as you do. If I am aware someone is around the corner I will wait for them to make that move. It make sense to do it that way because you have the jump on them. Your sight are already pulled up and your ready to go, often the winner of a gunfight is the one who initiates it. I consider camping staying in the same damn place, with minimal movement. To the point where if the game measured player movement that person would have a measurement of 100-400 feet.
I have only rage-quit less then 5 times in the last 2 months. Of all those times the map has always been Plaza. In each scenario the majority of the team were on the roof, claymore, bouncing betty and scavenger. They were basically tactical campers. There were a few rushers but, you couldn't last long enough to get any skill streaks to deal with the ones on the roof.
I guess it's my fault for not running with a team every time I play. But, for the most part I can handle campers in any other map besides plaza. That map is the center of my rage-quitting. The second a couple guys get on the roof and my team count drops down to a couple of players it's like why bother.
Yeah, I'll take a beating from the high-score streaks because I failed to prevent that guy from getting that score streak. When I play with my brother and a friend or two that's how I choose to play. We target the sob who is going for the dogs or w.e., we pay attention to who has called in what and what kills or score they have. Our failure is that he out-gunned or out-smarted us.
I've been thinking about how I play and I think if I'm going to run into more people like that on Plaza then I'll just camp the rest of the match out in some corner.
