I was thinking about the Universal Gaming Headset that is $100, but I don't know how good it is. It also says I have 6528 points on the top left corner of my poweruprewards account. How do I use those points to get money off the headset I buy? Do I need to bring my powerup card? Also, which headset would be best without spending a lot of money? I just need a headset that can hear footsteps, climbing up behind me, people in the train, etc. $150 or less is what I'm looking to spend for one that can be good for gamebattles.

I'm not sure where you are located but did you check Walmart?

They offer DPX21 @ $134... They are nice and did the job for me when I used to have them..

But, you need to be ultra sensitive with them because the ear-cup part breaks off really easily. Had 2 pairs first I broke turning the cup the second my dogs knocked them off the table and the feel 4ft to the ground and cup fell of.. ( I had planned on fixing them.. But, I bought astros.. Still going to fix them and use them for guests).

I hate walmart just not a fan from them. Plus gamestop is right next to the gym I go to.

Rough experience?!? I feel the same way about Gamestop.. But, you gotta do what you gotta do. According to the gamestop website DPX21 are $130 plus tax (online only) and PX21 is $80 plus tax.. Difference is the DPX21's come with the sound processor. ( I can't tell you if you will need it, as I never used my 21's without it).

Otherwise I really liked the 21's minus the earcup issue...

You can say that haha. I just need something that can sound whore the living hell of where people are at. Will make my life easier.
