Post: why do people sign off during a game?

(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); especially if they're host :|
doesnt happen much in ground war, but in ffa loooool swear today my FFA w/l dropped from 100+ to 28 because of the host signing off PSN

whats wrong with leaving the game normally :| i mean what's the point of trying to keep stats they don't deserve, even though most of them suck

it doesn't count lol, you still get a game loss but the k/d etc doesn't count,
in mw3 nothing counted for some reason,

Depends on what reason you want to go with.

I'm sure their justification/excuse list goes like this: tired of campers, overpowered weapons, lag, hackers, aimbots, etc...

The reason reason might be just because to them it somehow is better than simply choosing Leave Game option.

To a lot of people quitting via dashboard is no different than leaving the game through the start menu.

People quitting in general might have more to do with stopping the bleeding than actually trying to make the game not count. I play in parties and a lot of time the enemy team might have one really decent player with like 2kdr or so. He'll normally stay until he sees he will go negative and/or get outmatched by a stacked team. Basically if he stays he "beasted" but loss because his team sucked. If he does bad, he'll just quit. Essentially it's house money.

On MW3 though, so many people would sign out to preserve a win streak. It's usually obvious and hilarious because they'd have 100+ win streak yet their win/loss is like 0.70 or worse.

People tend to rage quit the most in 6v6 modes and the lobbies rarely ever refill. 6v6 is easy mode as long as you don't play in parties. FFA being in top 3 counts as a win anyway

the only reason is stats as far as i can see, theres a longer process in signing off/dashboarding rather than just leaving game.

also i believe you're talking about blops 1 about the win streaks lol, in mw3 if u dashed the entire game is wiped, you don't even get a loss, this guy on my bl signed off every loss and had like a 60+ w/l, only losses being dropped games

Well then you are the.perfect person to answer the thread's question. Why do you sign out as opposed to simply choosing to leave ham through start?

I sign off because it doesn't affect the KD. At least it didn't on MW3 and I never realized it doesn't do the same on BO2 if it doesn't.

Either way, even if I am rage-quitting, I'd rather much sign off to completely end that match since I must have signed off due to a player pissing me off. :mmm:
