(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); I am just putting in some thoughts on what Call of Duty could do to improve for the upcoming PS4, Xbox 720, PC and I suppose WiiU. Maybe could even be implemented on current gens but just assuming the next gen and PC will have capability for these things. This is TLAwesome faceR material btw. :yawn:


Graphics and gameplay


1. More character models. Meaning you notice how every faction in multiplayer only has like 2-3 different variations in looks? This is a minor detail but maybe have 40-50 different soldier models. In Black Ops 2 we all end up being that bald guy with visor or the guy with the big beard. This would be a nice touch. Obviously if we could customize our soldiers looks a little more that would be a nice touch. Black Ops 1 did a decent job with this with the facepaints. But maybe expand on that. Limit it to actual military attire that way you wouldn't have some guy with a mohawk, a tank top and skinny jeans...

2.) Maps that are similar to MW3. I am in no way saying MW3 had great maps. They did however have decent sizes. Big, immersive maps are nice and maybe if 25% of the maps were like say Afghan from MW2 or Berlin Wall from Black Ops 1 then that would be fine. If you have too many big maps it just gives people more reason to cry about people camping. If the maps are too small like in Black Ops 2 then you have people crying about how shotguns, pistols, SMGs aka CLOSE COMBAT WEAPONS are "overpowered". DLC maps should be more often. More retro maps would be nice too. Spawn system should be tweaked. I mean in MW2 and BO1 espeically the best thing to do was to spawn trap. In MW3 and especially BO2 the best thing is to actually rush spawns. A happy median would be nice. Also cut down on the interactive crap like BO2 has ie Hydro Water killing you.

I wouldn't really mess with recoil because it's an arcade FPS not a shooting range but maybe just remove Aim Assist.

Weapons and Perks

I personally think MW3 also did the best job of having a great weapon selection across classes. When you really think about it the game favored AR to SMGs maybe 60/40. MW2 had best Assault Rifles and secondaries(Shotguns). MW3 actually has better SMGs than BO2 does but the map and gameplay design is what makes BO2's SMGs the dominate class. For the 5 of you LMG enthusiasts it's always going to be the 3rd best weapon class at best(probalby 4th best because Snipers are better) because of what LMGs do. They are made to defend objectives, shoot at cover to get to enemies and hold down chokepoints. They are not really meant for much else. Well besides just literally holding the trigger down until someone runs into the bullets or they die like most LMG users do AmIrite? :ha!: Quick Scoping is somewhat annoying sure but rarely does a quick scoper actually go positive so it's not really THAT bad.

Perk system in MW2, BO1 and MW3 were good as far as the Pro variations as it at least gave you another thing to rank up, Perks like Second Chance, Last Stand, Poop Grenade, and such should be abolished. Perks like Ghost are a necessity as long as UAV is whored out. I do like BO2's version since it's a rusher perk. I'd expand it so that if you sit still for more than 5 seconds you are off enemy radar HOWEVER you can't actually move again for 3 seconds. This might be a fail suggestion but this would be a way so you can go lay prone in back of the map to take a bathroom break in the middle of the game without being AFK lmao. Also improve on the Sound Whore perks to COD4 levels.This would be a way to also help the 3 of you complaining that people are actually rushing you with Ghost. Make sure a perk like Flak Jacket and/or Tac Mask is back to counter the majority of players just literally throwing shit all game hoping to stun or kill somebody. Bring Sleight of Hand back as well

Storyline

Random yes but make the storyline mode a little longer and add DLC to the story a la Assassin's Creed 3. Also maybe two player offline story mode.

Connections, Party System

Probably most important part. If the connections could be similar to MW2 then that would be great. If you have shit internet or are trying to download porn, and stream music while playing YOUR connection suffers instead of the entire lobby. Also make it so there is a minimum internet speed required to do things like livestream and have a splitscreen teammate. The game is laggy enough at times so adding things like Theater, splitcreen and Live Stream has to hurt connections more. Things like lag comp are probably necessary so that a host with like 20 upload/100mb Download isn't just dominating everyone else. Just balance it best as possible and kick people if they lag too much. Obviously dedicated servers would be the best thing but they're not doing that. Make party system like Black Ops 1 where you can do local only, invite or join, etc. The leave all option from MW3 was good but an entire party leaving was only a cool feature if YOUR party left.

Stats and Ragequitting

Stats DO matter. They just aren't worth the lengths people are willing to go for them. I suggest adding metric type stats like sports have. Stats that show YOUR impact on the teams you play on. It's always funny how a guy will have 2+ kdr and 450+ spm but his w/l is below 1.0 There are two common reasons for this. a.) he rage quits the minute he doesn't get a good in game kdr b.) he plays solo only usually because he wants to post a video to Youtube. So it's nothing wrong with playing solo and trying to be a One Man Army however, there is a thin line between preferring solo and literally wanting to be in a house money situation where you're the best player on the team because randoms suck and you're a hero AND you quit but only because your team sucked.

So I'd add stats that show your impact to your team. Who gives a shit if your kdr is 3+ if you never stay in a game against competition? I always ask the question is rushing against noobs really that much more noble than camping against good players? Not everyone plays for kdr, etc. Stats should reflect how well you play. Obviously people can make them seem better than they are ie you stupid Prestige Glitchers BUT also make it easy to tell who has fake stats ie Prestige Glitchers who go negative in game. So just add stats that show how often you win and what your stats are like vs players with similar ability to yourself. Also add stats of how many times a certain streak was called in while you were playing. Meaning we could see if when you are in a game K9 unit is called in 5% of the time or 50% of the time.

I'd tweak it so that if you join a game that is more than 50-60% over you don't get a loss. That way if you join a dom game 140-40 with streaks in the air you don't get a loss. Also I would add a stat for quits. So next to losses in parenthesis I would have a quit stat. :happyguy:

Kill Streaks

The Black Ops 2 system is great. You actually feel like you earn streaks. Camping for them is a lot harder than in previous COD and the more objective you are the easier they are. Again people always bitched about "people not playing the objective" which is sometimes a noob way of saying, "well you may have 70 kills but I gotz 6 captures". We do need to do something about those challenge noobs who ignore objectives in order to rank up their knives, pistols and sniper rifles....Now you can have 70+ AND captures. I once got a K9 unit with 5 actual gun kills(gotta love tripping capping). Obviously don't have a Support streak return aka THE 2ND WORST THING IN ANY COD GAME NEXT TO ONE MAN ARMY NOOBTUBING. So I'd expand on the BO2 streak system with different and classic streaks like Harrier, Blackbird, AC130, Dogs, etc and maybe something similar to MOABs. Lastly make Barebones a 3rd mode. Meaning Core, Hardcore and Barebones. That way if you want to play Barebones FFA, Ground War or whatever else you can do so.

If you have other suggestions and somehow read all this, feel free to add them.

ragequitters quits to keep k/d. players can be in a winning tdm team but still quits cause tdm shows your k/d ratio and doesnt like how its turning out, sacrifice a lost for winning game for k/d. my idea is how about every kills that person gets before ragequitting would be converted to deaths. let say for example i got 25 kills and 15 deaths before the game ends, i dont like that stat so im gonna ragequit, the 25 kills would turn into deaths, that would be 40 deaths added to stats. w/l and w/l ratio would also decrease as like BO2. that'll make people think twice before ragequitting, either want to finish the game with 25-15 or take 40 deaths

They should make it so you cant quit. You hve to play the game out or turn your console off and back on and maybe your idea. But ppl will alwYs quit. It should be set up like the system of delayed reentry they have now. It should maybe allow you to accept game request by sending player a message. Like. The player you requested has accepted has xxx min to complete game before being connected and only gets connected if party still waiting. You shouldnt be allowed to quit. Finish your match!!! With that said a dedicated server would be need so your not aimlessly connected to bad laggy lobbies. You should also join matchmaking lobbies at the beggining never in games already started. Unless say under 2min. In where it doesnt have great affect on your ability to transition into game like when its 10 min in theres dogs and helis killing you before you have any idea where on the map you are. That your spawn trapped. Or your team is losing 68-30 in tdm or something.

let them quit, cause by the time they reach 1 kill in there stat, they have tons of deaths cause they never manage to finish a whole game

the only way to ragequit and not affect k/d is to have zero kills.

my killstreak or scorestreak mess up a bunch of times cause people join the game and get a kill off u and leave, messing up your streaks.

I sort of agree with the death thing after quit unless you were 0-0 or something. Often people will see how well they do before quitting. I don't play solo usually and there will be maybe one decent guy on the enemy team and he knows he will probably lose but what he does is stay in the game just long enough to try and get streaks or a lot of kills. The minute he sees he has no chance of even getting kills he'll just rage quit. If he has a good game he can say how he's so good and he owned a full team even with noobs on his side. If he doesn't get kills he'll just leave. So again it's house money. Either you're a One Man Army or you quit since your team(THAT YOU KNOWINGLY PLAYED WITH) sucked.

Also a lot of people quit and use one of the long list of COD excuses as justification for exampleGaspverpowered guns, tryhards, campers. So they'll quit but they'll just say it was because a guy "camped for a Swarm" as opposed to just being honest and saying they allowed a Swarm and wanted to get the hell out of there before there butthole was further bloodied. I don't think people just quit because they care about stats, sometimes they just quit because they realize they are getting owned. Somtimes I question why the guys who will go 6-40 and lose by 80+ points stay in games and continue to try and capture flags that are meaningless and make them even easier to kill.

I definitely understand why people play solo especially Youtubers but we know most COD players are bad and the odds of them being on your team is higher if you play solo. Not to really call people out but Whiteboy7thst in particular has a super low w/l in every COD because he literally just leaves the minute he sees the other team has more than one thumb on their hands.

Maybe remove skill based matchmaking. It amazed me how many Youtubers and others honestly admitted they didn't like playing people their skill level and wanted to play noobs. Now of course they did what most COD players do and made excuses ie not wanting to play tryhards all the time. Which is a fancy way of saying, "I want to be the tryhard, not play against tryhards". So maybe remove that or just make it so you aren't playing people in other countries based off skill. I think the skill based matchmaking is a myth really since although you may not play terrible playesr all the time, you still face your average COD player who is mediocre at best. Usually there will only be maybe 3-4 really good players in the entire lobby usually only if there is a party.

Maybe make qs game mode lobbies only since ppl are always making their own privately. Or radar always on lobbies and if you sit in one spot/area too long you start to die. This so camping is limited even more. Games ppl make like mike myers. I personally think its stupid but others lo e it.

I have to agree with everything, especially the Connection and Kill Streaks part. I say fuck it, for the 10th COD we deserve dedicated servers. People buy dedicated servers = lots of money.

We do need to do something about those challenge noobs who ignore objectives in order to rank up their knives, pistols and sniper rifles....Now you can have 70+ AND captures. I once got a K9 unit with 5 actual gun kills(gotta love tripping capping). Obviously don't have a Support streak return aka THE 2ND WORST THING IN ANY COD GAME NEXT TO ONE MAN ARMY NOOBTUBING. So I'd expand on the BO2 streak system with different and classic streaks like Harrier, Blackbird, AC130, Dogs, etc and maybe something similar to MOABs. Lastly make Barebones a 3rd mode. Meaning Core, Hardcore and Barebones. That way if you want to play Barebones FFA, Ground War or whatever else you can do so.

2. Dedication Servers with a Small Fee.
3. Custom Map created and voted by the community to be hosted online.
