It almost always gets one shot kills and you can spray with it if you have to. That's just my opinion though. I talk more about it in the video below, and I also mention some tips for when using it. right? and it gets more one shots than the ballista, i tried the ballista and just gave up on it after i got it golden, it aims very fast, but if it didnt get as many Hitmarkers than it'd be the best!

The DSR is the best sniper hands down. XPR is definitely better than that SVU garbage and not that much worse than the Ballista.

I will say the majority of snipers I encounter on BO2 use SVU or even XPR it seems. I don't know it is because they're doing challenges and happen to be using them but holy shit do those guys just spray. It's a damn shame that a weapon designed for the sole purpose of accuracy people want to spray and pray with and usually go super negative doing so. Not to mention at least 80% of BO2 and COD snipers in general are worthless in team games. They would rather try and quick scope or lay in the back of the map waiting for people to run by their scopes instead of actually helping pick enemies off objectives and hold down choke points/ Rant LOL

Still trying to get a ballista swarm. Might take some time.



Aha, can't say I agree with you on the DSR being the best, but I get what you mean as far as people spraying.

Update: I also have no clue why Grind is such a popular sniper map. I honestly imagine a few people decided to snipe on it and then people copied it. I LOVE flanking on Grind.


You could say the XPR is the best because of the fact it's technically easier to use because you can spray if need be. That doesn't make it the best. The B23R is the easier than the Tac 45 but the Tac 45 is the best pistol in the game. Easy doesn't always mean best. Depends on why you use it. I personally want accuracy in a sniper because if I wanted to spray I could use a FAL or SMR. DSR is way more consistent in one shot kills. So maybe if you rush with a sniper(which is stupid) then XPR is better but as far as doing what a sniper does, DSR is the best. Doesn't mean much though since MSMC or PDW is the best SMG but good players can rape with Chicom or Vector lol.

Vector with Select Fire. 2 round bust up to 1200rpm (without rapid fire) and no recoil. Mmm...


You're right about the easy doesn't make it the best. The Tac-45 is a good example. A two kill almost as far as the FAL is very beneficial, especially if you're accurate with it. The DSR is the best IMO (in core, that is) just simply because of the fact that it's a one hit above the waist, excluding the lower arms.

dsr is the best xpr is good but it has like alooooooooooooooooooot of recoil
