In a 5-7 game playoff then I'd probably pick competitive gamers vs "pub" guys. In a 1 or 2 game setting I'd take GOOD pub guys almost easily for a few reasons.

Competitive gaming can sometimes neuter the game so as a competitive gamer there might be some perks, guns, streaks and tactics that are in public that you aren't use to since public games are no holds barred.

So in a sprint I'd give it to pub but marathon GOOD competitive players would win. A lot of pub stars and big Youtube commentators handpick the type of players they play against. Not only are they playing your average COD player(decent at best), but they are playing the worst people possible. Example of that would be someone like Whiteboy7thst who literally quits any game where the enemy isn't monkeys with only one thumb. I understand why he would do it since he gets paid for playing. Although most of us here on NGU probably have awesome games so it just comes down to personality more than anything.

Also competitive gamers will have more define roles of slayer, objective, defensive, etc whereas most pubstars are good at getting tons of kills.
