a pubstar is someone known for being good in public games, you aren't known or good despite "60 days played" :|

I have to disagree. If you took 6 pub players such as myself ( which i consider very good) from their best specific game mode, say snd. Give them all mics and set them against a competitive team, i think they have just as good a chance. Most people who are pubstars know what they are doing thats why they play publicly so well. Furthermore id say these pub players are basically a competitve player w/o a team. Competitive players are good together but even the best one on a team of randoms doing whatecer they want, not playing objective or having common goal and communicating it..... He will(competitor) have bad games/ losses just the same time to time. I dont know how many times i have asked a random teamate to play the objective. Or watch one side/ door/ entryway so i can watch the other only for us to be double killed because he wants to do whatever he wants. Its his game he doesnt have to listen to me. He will do what he wants. Isnt trying. Will camp just for killstreaks in an objective game for his own stats. And so on.... Everyone knows it. However, if you had a team of the best pubs with a common goal and playing together communicating a strategy isnt that essentially a competitive team!? You cant compare competitive gameplay with set teams of players knowing each others ways against a bunch of randoms just thrown together and told ok now win. Its possible but highly unlikely. If there was some get to know you time or 6 random competitors vs. 6 random pubs then Thats different. So with all that said before it just becomes a rambling mess. I have been on random teams alone where everyone worked together held string points and choke spots against another 6 man elite team and murdered them. Now you can take a good objective communicative pub player (myself)on a 5 man competitive to make it 6 and that team may be better just as good or not feel any ill effects or very minimal at that. Now if you took one cometitive player put him on a random team it probably would mean nothing. Or he may become a worse player as everyone else could care less about him and only their own stats. W/L randoms dont care too much about stats like that as long as their name is on top of the leader boards.

lol...

and no, probably not, the only things pub players would be better at is getting more 100+s in public games

4 pub players vs a pro team will lose 9 times/10 in a series even if their individual gunskill is better, lack of experience, proper mindset and teamwork, etc.

pubs are better at pubs, comp is better at comp

Let's get this straight, there are 3 stages in call of duty. At first you're a scrub, we all started somewhere around here. Then you become good enough to be a "pubstar" meaning you can place at the top almost every time and have no trouble shitting on scrubs. Above that are the competitive players (who are divided into AMs and Pros but that's a different story).

Competitive players, were once pubstars, and can still be pubstars in the sense that we can go into public matches and wreck nearly everyone. The pros are usually better than the AMs, but they are both better than pubstars.

In summary:

Scrub > Average (I didnt list this earlier but w.e) > Pubstar > AM Player > Pro Player.
