Call of duty pritty much went downhill after MW2. Activision wrongfully fired Zampella and West which causing alot of the most talented developers Actvision ever had to leave Infinityward. Now that Infinityward is just an empty shell Treyark was Activisions only hope. The problem with Treyark was that they had talent but lacked innovation which frustrated alot of gamers including myself. It just seemed that every game they pushed out every year felt recycled as if they ran out of ideas. Plus it's no secret that Activision prefers quantity over quality which doesn't help the players but deffinitely helps the bottom line.
Listen I've been playing FPS since the late 80's and saw great games come and go. I'm not saying COD is going to disappear any time soon it's just that there are better games out there. Sorry but the latest Call of duty games has become predictable, overly recycled and boring!!!

IMO The Call of Duty franchise peaked at MW2 then slowly went downhill after.

I think the last good Call of Duty was MW2 or Black Ops, because they still got something fresh and new. Yeah the spawnsystem and the whole concept is pretty much the same, but still they added different new things in those two. Now it's really only copy+paste minor changes and only moneywhoring.. sad :L

+ agreed with cod4 on computer. All those mods like zombie were soo much fun, but sadly less and less people play it.

best was COD 4. They should bring out an updated version of COD 4.

I hate cod now i have no clue why i keep buying them, i play them for a few months but they ALWAYS get old and boring not that much into video games anymore cuz thats all I would play
