There is nothing like coming out first place (rarely happens I'm not that good) when you're using a pistol and everyone else is using SMGs and ARs. Campers never kill me more than once. I've pretty much learned how to keep the majority of my gunfights at close range, and I never lose at close range.

Honestly I can't play with any other guns other than the ones I'm currently trying to get diamond (I obsess like that) and it's been extremely frustrating getting those bloodthirsties. But when I go back to my trusted SMG for a break, I find it ridiculously easy and not a challenge. *NOT saying I still do all that well, but it's not as fun*

I may even run pistols as my primary once I finally get them diamond . I have gold on the 5-7 (easy) and now I am just working on a couple bloodthirsty medals for the rest. This has taken me soooo long, and KILLED my K/D but I notice when I switch to a regular weapon it's like easy mode. Well worth it for anyone trying to improve their game...

Try playing on hardcore even easier

I dont see what takes people so long on pistols, i got 15 headshots a game on average, and took an additional 5-6 games to get gold completetly.
I literally got the 5-7, tac, b23,and the kap in 1 or 2 days of playing. The executioner took me close to a month to get... just for the bloodthirsties.

trick for the exe's: dual wield, long barrel, aim at chest, boom, headshot.

Pistols and shotguns are the only weapons in this game which I enjoy using.
SMGs are not fun to me , ARs are the same yet to bother with LMGs.

Yea I get your point it also a nice playstyle. Need like one or two more for the five seven bloods. B23R need to do the rest of the challenges, exe is gold. Tac 45 and kap 40 working on headshot still.



I get 3 headshots a game. Takes about 800 kills to get all the headshots on average.

play hardcore kill confirm or domination.. i pulled of a nuclear with the b23r on standoff and.. and for the executioner i would sneak up behind people mostly snipers and campers and boom headshot them. i got the lowest kd with the executioner mines at 2.08 its a good secondary gets people by surprise when u blast them.

You sound like that guy I hate to play against because I'll be on a good streak, ready to get a Lodestar or something and then you kill me with a Tac45 or most direspectful an Executioner. Then I look at the scoreboard and the guy will be 8-25 or something...I HATE that lol.

Obviously I can see the argument that AR and especially SMGs are easy to use however it's not really my fault if I don't feel like handicapping myself by using a pistol for the sake of having a challenge. To me trying to get big win streaks and Swarms is a challenge to a degree.

I'd rather die by a guy that is a "tryhard" then knowing I got killed by a guy who is actually just trying to get however many kills he can get and doesn't care if he dies or losses every game. He'll take a 8-25 game every game because for him he only wants clips or a few Hunter Killer kills.

It's part of the reason I hate quick scopers lol. I'd rather die by a 30-10 guy over a 10-30 guy. I will say though that pistols are damn good in this game so it's very possible to dominate using them. It's just that most COD players struggle with the best weapons in the game so giving them a pistol really makes them terrible.

I totally agree with your point hate the scrubs who just run around with pistol or sniper only all game. It might seem a challenge to them but 9 times out of 10 the majority that do this go negative badly. What I hate most is the fact some in the cod community don't try at all.

Public matches to some people is just messing around not being a team player so thats why alot of people suck because there not taking it seriously enough. Sure they can use whatever classes they want to use.

Fact is don't play team based modes like search and destroy if your just going to sit back in your spawn with a sniper that goes negative because your bad with it.
