Learn how to open and forward ports on your router to fix your console NAT issues.

See the video tutorial for a detailed How-To

Steps:

1) go to Port Forward's website and find your router: You must login or register to view this content.

2) Find the game, console or service you want to open the gates for

3) Log into your router & follow instructions using the details specific to your router

*Black Ops 2 Ports to forward:
TCP
27014-27050*

UDP
3074, 3478, 4379-4380, 27000-27030*

Doesn't matter! However I would do the range since it's easier. Smile

Ok so here is the online manual for that router
You must login or register to view this content.

Page 114 of that manual details out the port forwarding.

1) Click on "advanced settings tab" and choose the port forwarding radio button.
2) enable port forwarding
3) enter the "private IP" that you assigned your console.
4) Fill in the respective ports (easier to just leave it as TCP/UDP rather than specify)
a) Black Ops 2 ports: 3074,3478,4379-4380,27000-27050
b) Playstation Network: 80,443,465,983,3478-3479,3658,5223,10070-10080
c) Xbox Live: 53,80,88,1863,3074

Now note that some of the ports are "duplicated" with the different services. Once you open the port to the specific IP you don't need to open to the specific service. For example I have my port forward names as "xbox, xbox1, xbox2, xbox3" etc. Then if I need to add one specifically for BO2, then I'll name it that. Hopefully it makes sense.

Let me know if you have any other questions or issues. I hope this information helped you!

Alright i added the Bo2 Ports, but now when I added them it says they are offline, but im online on my ps3 with that manual address does that matter?

So you've specified a dedicated IP for the ports to forward (192.1.1.59 or whatever) and then set that also on the PS3? do you have UPnP enabled?

I'm not sure why it shows offline. I'm not 100% familiar with that router. If you've assigned the static IP, followed the steps and you have open NAT... you're good to go!

I have the address part where you put the Ip address and DNS1,2 Subnet thing on Manual and i putted them .. but it's open now, only problem i have is when my brother plays and he goes into blackops 2 before me then when i get in I have moderate and i can't host games then ,but i guess this will fix it.

To fix that you need to setup QoS (quality of service)... set your IP as the highest priority. I have the same issue with two xboxes at the same time. Smile

If you have Modern Warfare 2 start it up goto multiplayer and goto the menu just before the lobby and your NAT should say OPEN now start up BO 2 and NAT will still say OPEN
