There are fountains with stones on top of them in certain areas of the map. Where they are placed usually determines where you can use the beast abilities to break down barriers and open doors. All you have to is go up to the fountain and press square. It only works once per round. If it's not working, you might be using God Mode which is said to prevent beast mode from working?

Would it work if I switch godmode off and on again

I haven't used any tools, but I believe that by turning it off, you can use beast mode again. I haven't a clue as to what would happen if you enable god mode while in beastmode though, lol.

It's because you were using godmode. Turn it off, activate beast mode, do your thang and then once you return to human mode then switch back on. Be aware that you can't pick up some items when you have god mode on
