(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); Decided would be smart idea to start off with the Sheiva on my quest for dark matter because self inflicted pain is fun.
Now have the Sheiva gold after playing solo in objective gamemodes for even more self inflicted pain.

Wanted to like this gun but just painful to use. Moments of good aim things die quickly....very quickly was able to get couple triple kills using this gun. Loved this gun at times other times hated the whole thing.

Sheiva summed up in sentence.

High risk high reward rewarded for good aim but punishment for bad aim and with flinch.

From design point of view get what Treyarch wanted to do with this gun. Sounds perfect on paper fixes core issue behind FAL/SMR in black ops 2. Both guns expanded on other weapons niche roles bit to much. Back to the drawing board rebalance the idea behind semi auto weapon given how dominate FAL/SMR could be rather reasonable. Result Sheiva has much slower rate of fire suits fighting over distance more with punishment for taking people over close range. Bunch of handling traits which make the weapon rubbish at closer ranges.

Just to compare...
Sheiva 257 rpm
FAL 515 rpm
SMR 450 rpm

Iron sights are worse compared to both guns from BO2..

Bright side damage is higher on the Sheiva pretty much always 2 hit kill compared to the FAL/SMR could be 2-3.
Throw in movement system with slow rate of fire can dodge the Sheiva. Slower aim down sight time plus poor hip fire spread plus poor other traits at close range.

Flinch is biggest punishment for missed shots...certain death.
Flinch does screw you over time to time when comes to headshots sometimes you flinch people into lucky headshot on you.
Don't understand the gameplay mechanic and makes no sense just hurts weapons like the Sheiva.

In order to do good with the Sheiva position + aim is king. Get into good spot aim down line of sight and hit people over range. Sheiva is nasty if you hit people from lines of sight they don't expect. Punishment for the other team or punishment for you. Unlikely to see me using it often apart from couple maps and camping like bitch. Pistols are useful given how rubbish the weapon is at close range.

Useful stuff...
Optics
Pistols
High caliber

Subjective stuff...which could be useful.
Quickdraw

The Shevia is a amazing gun but it comes with some draw backs. The icon sights aren't the best, fire rate isn't the best, handing isn't the best but it makes up for these negatives with the damage and the range. I used it during the beta and even still use it after getting it gold and diamond. The gun is just a high risk high reward type of thing. Sure,You can get a two bullet kill but then again you can run up on someone and die quick because it's tight range. I have used it on smaller maps and did decent but not as good as me using other ARs or Smgs. Quickdraw and high caliber are a must on this weapon and a sight is a decent choice. After playing for a while I noticed it's really good on the map hunted and stronghold at least for me :p Overall,I love it but it's risky at times.

After getting it gold

Would use optics of your choice, high caliber and that it. Quickdraw is nice but should already be aiming in some direction

Aim down sight time is 265ms compared to standard 250ms for ARs.

Do a barrel roll!
I dont know about the Shieva, nice work here analyzing it, but for any multiplayer game, I use the KN-44, which is OP as hell. The shieva is good for headshots on zombies though. hehe. Nice post man.

I think this gun is freaking awesome. With the right attachments it's a beast!

Do like the KN44 even if recoil does screw me over sometimes pretty balanced and just decent.
Sheiva in zombies is okay until round 30 but requires you to aim for the head

Found nothing so far that OP
