Call of Duty 3 server system: you can host your own online games and customize it to your likings AND you can join ANY game you want from a list. (although, it can sometimes be hard to join a game)

COD4,5,MW2 server system: you dont get to choose which game to join or what map to play. you can't host your own online game. everything is totally random, etc....


I personally would want COD3's server system because i like the fact that you can PICK which damn server to join and which map to play. BUT i have to admit that the COD4,5,MW2 server system can sometimes be more reliable...
