Now that the majority, if not the whole infinity ward team is leaving the call of duty series, i think that trey arch is simply going to pound the historic games into the ground with stupid side games and more low budget "Call of Duty: (some random conflict in history)" games. Good news is that infinity ward is starting their own series of games, which with some luck (this is going to happen), is going to explode and will probably (definately) become more popular then the Call of Duty series. i am replying to the messages below as of 5-21. i thought W@W was terrible as the game looked horrible. the only thing semi enjoyable in that game was zombies....... ZOMBIES. this was a SIDE GAME and people found it to be the highlight of play... that says plenty enough by itself. also, please, please do not tell me that Mw2 is cheap, as i know it is, and imply W@W was SO much better. flame throwers..... really. not to mention you could disappear under the map by jumping into the corner of a house, Jesus. wait whats this, a big ass tank to roam the map, with a cannon attached, seems fair, and loads of fun.... wait...... NO. how about the tank whores whom focused the game into wizzing around in an impenetrable box. ohh haha, and "flak jacket"........ ya

Well dcons9, this is like only their 3rd or 4th game they made out of the call of duty series, i'd expect you to try better then they do, they've been working on this game since the release of the COD WAW, so if i were you, then expect a huge improvement,

1st thing, its IW, Infinity Ward, not insomniac.

Im now going to write a summary of the last 3 COD games.

IW - CoD4 : Relatively balenced - Very enjoyable game.

Treyarch - WaW : Still relatively balenced - Some BS points, but still enjoyable.


IW - Mw2 : Complete BS. Evry second on that game someone me or one of the friends im playing with is suffering from UMP Marathon lightwight scrubs. Or OMA Danger close Noobtoobs.



My point here is that Treyarch will probably learn from IW's mistakes, for instance leaving the stock on the SPAS-12 were its SUPPOSED TO BE!!!! xD

Even though I still play mw2 with all its BS. I still want to play WaW sometimes.

I feel W@W was awesomely superb to MW2. MW2 has too much BS in it....With commando, OMA, akimbo (i know its been fixed, but it was an issue b4), Tac Shotty.


Not to mention how kill streaks totally killed the game and any possible thread of teamwork.

Anyways...I still play it...But as long as there is a zombie type mode...I will be happy....

Personally I would be super happy with additional zombie maps for W@W

honestly i dont think ones better then the other meaning IW or Treyarch i mean MW was just an amazing game then IW decided all its interested in is our money and they got plenty of it and we are all just retarted for buying such crap and WaW well WaW was good for zombies and it stopped there the mulitplayer was shit the campaigne was horrible and WWII is just boring...having said this Treyarch is now the lead designer of COD and will have the tools available to them to make a good game not a great game but a good game and they got to see 1st hand how to make a terrible game and what happens when you release trash like that

NOT A BITCH FIT. but it sounds like youve only played waw from treyarch and already hate them. if you dont hate iw after mw2 crap then idk. but black ops already looks more fun than mw2. campaign was crap, mp *30 days play time on MW2* is so full of campers due to iw putting in so many k/s. i dont bitch @ the player , i bitch @ the makers of the game. AND IW DOESNOT AGAIN , DOESNOT LISTEN TO THEIR COMMUNITY OR WE WOULD HAVENT THE CRAP DLC WE HAVE NOW FOR 15 BUCKS.

Ladies & gentleman, I present a IW fanboy. Who completely fell for the hype IW shoved down his throat & doesn't realize W@W was awesome & MW2 sucks. Btw, How is 1960's to 1980's modern? & btw, IW is not starting a new game franchise... Most of the IW employees quit & join Respawn entertainment, Started by the former IW heads. Respawn entertainment is creating a new franchise published by EA.
