(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); Treyarch have shown interest in the upcoming console technology, but this does not mean they will use it in Black Ops.

Microsoft's Project Natal and Sony's Playstation Move are both set to release later this year. If you're behind on technology news and unsure what Move and Natal is then you might be happy or disappointed to hear that they are both motion-sensor technology that is set to re-define how video games are controlled, but the question is, will Call of Duty games suit this technology?

Natal and Move have both been questioned by many as to "what's the point?" and "I'll stick to my controller, thank you!". But Treyarch are the latest developer to express their interest in the technology, but they confirm that this is unlikely for Black Ops but could happy for any of their future games. Josh Olin stated this when speaking in a interview with MCV ยป

Perhaps not for Black Ops, but Natal and Move is definitely something that we would want to craft compelling gameplay around. We wouldn’t want to incorporate Natal and Move technology just to say that we did it – we’d want to make sure that there’s actually some valid gameplay component there.
We’ve had people suggest maybe throwing a grenade with a hurling motion of your hand, and that’s a good example of a gameplay mechanic that might work out for a future title, but there’s no plans for any of that in Black Ops.

It has also now been officially confirmed that our beloved Russian Sgt. Reznov will return in Black Ops! If you played World at War's Single Player mode then you will be well aware that Reznov was your passionate leader in the Russian campaign. He will play a big part in this game which is set after World at War, although Reznov looks a lot younger - or is it just me? Maybe it's because he's lost his iconic hat now. Well I can tell you - and again, not to spoil the game - there is one character from World at War who is going to make a return, and that's Reznov. But I don't want to tell you what capacity he works in our game, but he has a pretty big part and the players who experienced World at War are going to recognise him. But that's all I can really disclose right now and believe me, I would love to tell you about the whole game but I just don't want to spoil that experience because this story is just so rich and deep.

See the thing about natal is how would you shoot? Your front hand covers your back so the camera would be blocked from the trigger. None the less I'm waiting for Playstation Move. I hope it's not a flop like the eyetoy.

i actually kinda hope they dont use natal for future games. games seem to get worse and worse these days (by this i mean games are getting shorter or rushed etc) and if a lot of developers (mainly cod games) start using technology like natal or ps move then all the other great features will be rushed or taking out.

same goes for graphics now a days, games are getting shorter and sometimes less intractable because they worry about graphics to much. (except cod, flying heli's FTW!)

anyway if I wanted to play cod using the new technology these days id buy a wii with cod 4 reflex:O

Good info but tbh natal doesn't bother me that much and it wouldn't work great on some of the best selling games.

Motion sensing removes the atmosphere of video games and how they've always been. I guess if you want it. Idk I don't like it.

If you would like the option of using natal you can... However if you just want the xbox fine. I probably will never get natal (lol almost posted anal LOL) because i hate motion sensored games and i know its only for xbox but even if i bought xbox i still wouldn't buy the Natal

It might actually be a very cool thing. It would take FPS to a new level.

They can't use Natal for any FPS's since they can't track your fingers. End of story.
