As many of you may recall, in World at War we added unlocks to the Prestige ranking. That is to say, as you reach certain levels of Prestige, we unlocked more Create a Class "slots" for you.
This was in addition to the Prestige Icons that had been in the previous game.
We are currently working through a list of Prestige ideas and we ask you to pile on.
First, some ground rules:
Unlocking items that can give you a slight game play advantange like Create a Class slots is fair game, but don't bother with content suggestions:
-upgraded items (my gun is better than your non Prestiged gun)
-new content not available in the non Prestige levels (new types of grenades, attachments, or other equipment)
We know exactly what percentage of you opt to Prestige. It just doesn't make sense to develop new game content used by a relatively small percentage of you some of the time, or (as would actually be the case) hold back content from the game for such a small percentage of overall players to use a small percentage of the time.
As you can imagine, that makes tuning and testing a lot more difficult and the cost vs reward of that type of feature development doesn't come out too favorably. It's "expensive" (using that term generically, not to mean money) to develop and tune content that not many people will ever access. Follow me?
The very definition is Prestige does not include the use of the word "exclusive".
Someone who has prestige is widely recognized, has distinction or importance.
What do we give people who Prestige to further that cause? What do you want to identify you, the Prestige gamer, as having this distinction?

Yea i dont really like the whole "Exclusive items for prestiged players"
even though i prestige, but that just gives everyone a reason to prestige hack.

I was gonna say the same thing. But say the 1st prestige you get a new camo, the second a player skin, the 3rd a camo and so on until 10th when you get both a new camo and a player skin, or something along that sort of system.
To be honest, there's not really anything else i can think of without it being an advantage over a non prestiger. I was thinking maybe if there are customizable killstreaks you'd have to reach a certain prestige to unlock a certain killstreak, but again, it gives an advantage over a non-prestiger.
Hmmm, tough one. (Or i'm just lacking imagination lol)

so if they had some type of camo, that might convince some people to prestige. or better yet make a create a camo via sumopaint or photoshop!!

Great Idea, But in world at war there wasn't any camo's, So maybe there isn't any in Black Ops? Or have they confirmed it yet?

I think each prestige should be an added "Create Class" like Mw2 and WaW.
1-3 should be like new cammo's like Blue and Red Cheetah.
4-6 should be like you can have 4 perks- Example- Sleight of Hand, Stopping Power, Ninja, Commando.
7-9 should be more gun stats- example- Accuracy, damage, and all those increase and attachments also increase in there power.
At 10th prestige, you should have more powerful bullets for all guns, like Explosive Ammo(400 kills with the weapon)- If an enemy is hiding behind a box or something, you can shoot to the side of the box and the bullet will cause a mini explosion.

There is camo, in a few screenshots you see the AR-15 with green forest camo. Heres a picture of it for proof, so I am assuming there will be cammo. (also not my pic)

1.you know I would kinda like to see better create a class system like if there is customizable killstreaks have the ability to put different killstreaks in each class like from level 5 you can choose custom killstreaks in two classes like one class would have (using mw2 killstreaks) uav, pred, and harrier. The second class would be like harrier, pavelow, choppa gunna. And as you level up you can do this with more classes.
2. customize color on dot and holo sights like as you get headshots after you get camos be able to get like a green dot site, blue dot site, and so on.
3. camos for knifes
4. custom emblem at 10th prestige not a generic one that everyone gets like in all previous games like be able to choose one of the emblems offered like under callsigns
