Isn't it amazing how when COD5 was released everyone hated Treyarch, and when MW2 was released everyone loved Treyarch.

I don't see why these threads are always made when a new Call of Duty game is coming out...

Granted that the game isn't out yet, no one can be sure as to whether it will be good, or bad. Frankly, I think it looks like it'll be quite enjoyable. Treyarch is going out on a limb, and from what I hear actually listening to the community. This game is going to be widely played, and is going to be a lot of fun, that much is sure.

Whether or not it'll be great is something none of us can answer at this point. We've only seen very little of the game up to now.

I can't see how it's overrated when it's not even out yet, but i've learnt from MW2 not to get your hopes up on the hype. At the same time though, Treyarch ARE listening to the community so maybe the hype will live upto expectations, or maybe not. Nobody knows until its released or gets a hold of a beta (if one is made). The only thing i have concern with is vehicles making a return, i hated them in WaW and didn't play in certain modes much because of them. But that's just my opinion.

All in all, i really hope Treyarch pull it off.

to some, it might be overhyped. but to most, not really. its just that waw was not as good as cod4. and then when they heard mw2, well, people jumped on the game. you cant have too much good from something good huh?

the only area that black ops might be overhyped is that mw2 is pittiful and iw cant do shi* for customer/ player complaints and such.

so like someone posted before, hype sells games. nothing much. watch, iw will still get sales with just a flashy trailer and something that can top a crossbow and a ballistic knife.
