Firstly, how would Activision or Infinity Ward let such a video be released? There's no doubt that if it was true, it would have been taken off of the internet very quickly as have leaked videos in the past. Granted it's almost been a month, it's obvious the Call of Duty developers aren't very concerned about it being on the internet.

There has also been a rumor that Activision and Infinity Ward plan to establish fees for the already released Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2. Alongside this statement made by Josh Olin, all companies involved mentioned that subscription fees will never be applied to Call of Duty titles.



There is only one thing that benefits this rumor, and that would be the well-known statement that really got people fired up against Activision:



Chances are, granted Activision knows how their community feels about such a change, it will not happen.

There was no chance the Black Ops were going to charge us from the start since i'm pretty sure Xbox live is contracted to Black ops for early game releases and the right to play multiplayer + if this was the case then treyarch can say goodbye to their expected sales not to mention they will be releasing additional content in the future which will also cost.
