Black Ops: Characters

Frank Woods

Sergeant Frank Woods is one of the main non-playable characters in the upcoming game Call of Duty: Black Ops. Woods is part of the Studies and Observation Group. On Woods' left arm is a USMC tattoo, which suggests his branch of service. On the same arm, Frank also has a SOG tattoo reading "SOG TOUGH." He is voiced by James C. Burns. It has been confirmed that Woods will be seen at different times in his career and will not remain with the SOG the whole game.

Hudson

Special Agent Hudson is a SOG operative, and one of the main playable characters in Call of Duty: Black Ops. Hudson is a Vietnam War Spec Ops soldier, and is one of the playable campaign soldiers on the American side. He appears in the mission "WMD". The callsign for his squad during "WMD" is Kilo-1.
He is voiced by Andrew Hawkes.

Mason

Mason is an SOG (Studies and Observation Group) operator and one of the main playable characters in Call of Duty: Black Ops. He has appeared as the playable character in the Pre-Release E3 version of the level "Victor Charlie". He also appears as the playable character in the level "Payback".

Reznov

Sergeant Reznov is a Russian squad leader of the Red Army in Call of Duty: World at War during World War II. He is also confirmed to play a major part in Call of Duty: Black Ops either assisting or as part of the Studies and Observations Group.
He is voiced by Gary Oldman.

Thomas

Major Thomas is a confirmed character that will appear in Call of Duty: Black Ops. He is the pilot that controls the SR-71 Blackbird in the mission "WMD."

Weaver

Weaver is one of the non-playable characters in the upcoming game, Call of Duty: Black Ops. He is part of the Studies and Observation Group and is a part of a squad (with the playable character) infiltrating a Soviet base during the mission "WMD". The callsign for his squad during "WMD" is Kilo-1. Weaver is voiced by David Conrad.

Swift

Swift is one of the non-playable characters in the upcoming game Call of Duty: Black Ops. He is part of the Studies and Observation Group. Swift appears in the mission "Victor Charlie" where he progresses through the Viet Cong tunnel network with Mason. After briefly meeting with Reznov, Swift turns a corner and is killed by a Vietcong guerrilla.

Brooks

Brooks is a SOG operative that is set to appear in the Call of Duty: Black Ops campaign mission "WMD"

Harris

Harris is a character that appears in Call of Duty: Black Ops in the level "WMD". He is shown in the level with teammates Hudson, Weaver and Brooks infiltrating a Soviet Union base in 1968. He is also a SOG operative.
Harris is voiced by Topher Grace and Josh Peck.

Kravtchenko

Kravtchenko is one of the antagonists in Call of Duty: Black Ops. He is most likely a Red Army officer, and conducted (just like the SOG) a black operation in Laos with his Spetsnaz unit. Kravtchenko is also the reason why the SOG is deployed in Vietnam.
Kravtchenko is voiced by Oleg Taktarov.

Bowman

Bowman is a Studies and Observations Group operative that is set to make an appearance in Call of Duty: Black Ops.
Bowman is neither seen or heard from as of now, but as seen in the E3 stage demo, operative Frank Woods can be heard ordering him to take point and move, as seen in the campaign mission "Victor Charlie".

Nice thread and thanks for the information. Personally I think Reznoz will be shown in flashbacks and remembered as a true hero in this game. His voice would be in flashbacks and such since he is already confirmed to be in the game. Anyways, good thread and thank you for the information.
