Here is some proof that Black Ops will be moddable and that DVARS will be used in the multiplayer engine!
While I was crawling through cod7blackops.com I found this:
- Modern Warfare 2's host migration will be included.
And for those of you who don't have JTAGs,
The way that host migration in mw2 works is that the game dvar for the map and mode is stored on everyones consle, that way when the host backs out the same game mode and map will load! (also other crucial info is stored in dvars other than map and mode)
This means yes, Dvars will be used in Black ops.
Whether they will eliminate client dvars, probably not
I can already see this is gonna be a good mod...

This is a website for, as described, 'Glitches, cheats, reviews, discussions for the latest and hottest video games'.
Mostly NGU is known for hacking and glitching, from the prestige hack to the challenge lobby frenzy.
I couldn't care less.
As long as any hacks made don't give anyone an unfair advantage. An emblem and prestige hack is no harm caused for me...

As long as it is not released to public matches it doesn't concern me too much. Hopefully the people at Treyarch make something similar
to Halo 3's custom games, but then people would find a way to hack that and ruin it
