It's been stated by one of the creators (sorry i forget which one) that you will earn at least 300 COD points per game, which is equivalent to roughly 15 kills.

I can tell this game is gonna be confusing at first..

say you get 50 xp per kill u might get like five COD points.
or you know how they said there will be optional contracts, there might be some where you just get COD points
