I am not sure because apart from trailers if you look at youtube videos, hardly any of them go to 720p... the quality is not great? If they have been recorded using theter mode then i am probably getting a HD PVR anyways

There isn't(I don't think) a killfeed in Theatre Mode, which is somewhat essential to gameplays/montages. So yes you will probably still need an HD PVR.

The Vids from theatre mode are going too be available on a website in Youtube and Phone friendly formats. So I dont think you'll be able to just connect a usb.

save the matches to your ps3 hard drive, then upload them from it to youtube, pretty simple

Theatre Mode will be good for uploading full gameplay or brief clips on the cheap, but having an HD capture card will give you more options. The top COD video uploaders will still use HD capture cards.

you should be able to upload your video to a special site for theater mode where can watch or download it from what u guys think ?

It uploads you gameplay to a fileshare website i think... think i heard it in a multiplayer trailer analysis video or something? :S They said something about making an account of the website to upload all of the games you want to it... Sorry i cannot find the video so don't take this as 100% true
