All they have to do is have a leaderboard for most flags captured, most bombs destroyed, most bombs defused, etc. Also, they should get rid of the kills leaderboard and not show the k/d ratio. I think this would help the gameplay for the CoD series more than anything else at the moment.

Yeah total agree!. When I'm playing Demolition is everyone killing each other instead of defusing or plant the bomb. Its positive for me because when I'm planting, like no one wants to defuse it!, so i get exp .

I've suggested this so many times but I'm always bombarded with messages from k/d whores saying that only k/d matters

true this will stop a lot of shit from happening but i cant see treyarch going for it

some people get the kill streaks to support the team not for themselvs

I know i was vsing this team there had about 10 chopper gunns and most were like 96-15 , my team sucked ass we had like 50 seconds on the clock i got half my team to flank on the left and a few run right , i planted and we pwnd them was heaps good :p

yeh its bullshit you rarely never see anyone go for the flags unless they walk past and go ohhhhh " ill get this flag" lol

Its simple. They should still reward kills with points and killstreaks but your K/D ratio should not be affected in modes like capture the flag, demolition, domination.

I hear this way too much across many forums pertaining to COD....

I know personally when I am going for certain attachments/ pro perks I will play whichever game mode proves to make this happen as quick as possible.

For example...I was going for Cold Blooded Pro so I was playing HC HQ and DOM strictly runnig around with stinger, SOH, and COLD Blooded....I went positive every game, but hardly went for objectives.

I agree with the OP that this would piss me off if I was actually trying to win, but the fact remains that if you want to be sure that your team will try and complete objectives in objective based games then you need to party up with friends. Simple as that....
