In fact a lot of instructors say to their people that they should give their weapon a name. A friend of mine that just joined the army also had to give his gun a name. I would call mine "Nadja". Probably gonna write it on there. Yup.

I think it's because if you give it a name, it kind of personifies the gun, therefore you take care of it better.
