(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); With Black Ops 20+ days away, I have nothing better to do than create a guide to help you all get the game a bit earlier than big retailer stores. I've seen a bunch of threads giving thier ideas however I'd like to make a TUT that clearly tells you what to do. Hopefully mods will find that this post makes the rest obsolete

Here we go,

Intro

The plan is to find a store near you that receives BO early and will sell the game as soon as it's in stock. These stores typically are small family owned stores or niche stores. If you have a store in mind call them up, if not continue reading.


Method 1 - Google

Need:
A phone or skype
Internet *optional*

What you need to do is call Google Voice (18004664411 (I think..)) on either a phone or for free on skype. Once you call you should be talking to an automated operator. Just say your area (eg. Toronto Ontario) followed by Video Games. Google will find all stores that match the description. Next step is to select the stores that do not sound too familiar (eg. Duey Game Haven:p) and call them up.

Last step is the actual conversation. Just simply ask if they do in fact sell video games. If so just politely ask when they get Black Ops. If they receive it on an early date, pat yourself on the back and find directions to that store.



Method 2

Needs:
phone
phonebook

This is for those that are too lazy for Method one. All you need to do is go to the video game section on the back of your phone book and find local stores that sell games. Once again only call stores that do
not sound familiar. Ask them when they receive black ops as you would in method 1 and hopefully you get lucky.


In closing, I hope all of you guys find a store that sells Black Ops early. If you don't find a store, try method 1 again but in another nearby city. Good Luck!

I found 3 stores that are pretty close to me that I've never heard of before. I'll have to try and call closer to the release date.

Congrats! Make sure they sell games before you call again

try searching up their storename on google and finding their website.

They have "Games" in their name, so I'm pretty confident they sell games. :p

I have a list of about 6 or 7 stores in my area. Tomorrow I'm going to call 2 or 3 and just ask when they will have black ops in stock. Not when it's for sale, just in stock.

So your kinda easing into "popping the question"--> ["CAN I HAS BLACK OPZ EERRLIE??!!1!? PLOX] LOL

But wait... if they say they'll get them say November 2nd, what then? You just go there that day and try to buy it? xD

Might aswell try haha. If I had a car I would do it. But I'm only 14 so... it's worth a shot.
