Now I realize there will still be people who try to hack titles, emblems, leaderboards, etc. I'm talking about the stuff that changes gameplay and messes up ranked matches.

Personally, I just enjoy playing hacked matches with friends in private. It gives the game a different element and is very enjoyable to be able to hop and speed around the map in a way you wouldn't normally be able to do. I don't like messing up other peoples ranked matches.

So would this deter you in any way if it was implemented? Or am I alone in my desire to not break the game but still have "outside the box" fun

I'm all for hacks that stay in the private match, they're fun. It's just when it affects online play in online lobbies and such.

Hacking for me, is a lot like a penis. Keep it to yourself and only get it out around your mates =D

yeah that would be awesome. although hackers would probably be able to make it work online pretty easy why cant people just enjoy the game how it is !!

I would not hack Black Ops at all, if it's an enjoy-able game by itself. If it becomes total boredom with noobs and overpowered weapons i would hack it to get fun. Won't change anything if i could do that in private match, if the online sucks i would hack.

People are never satisfied they always want more and always want to push the limits further. I would like to have that stuff available in private matches only like you said so I could mess around with my friends and stuff. What I don't agree with is the stuff that affects everyone else, the hacking is pretty much the reason why RANK doesn't mean anything anymore. In a way they are allowing this, didn't TREYARCH say that you would be able to MOD the PC version??

Yep. They knew they couldn't do anything to prevent PC hacking, as PC's are where the hacks come from and are made, and found. With consoles you have specific online signatures and if you get banned, your console gets banned too so it makes it not worth it to hack on a console. But with a PC you could probably hack your way back in from being banned etc the hacking is endless.

I have been thinking this for a while. It is so much fun to have super jump and things like that, i just don't see why they can't make a option for it in private match.
