To me it seems as though BO will be another MW2 in terms of balance. I feel there will be a few guns from each category (Assault, SMG, etc) that are the best. Like in MW2 with the UMP45 for the SMG's and ACR/Famas for assault. It's harder to tell because obviously the game isn't out yet, but in the videos I have seen it looks like the MP5K and the AK 74U will be the best SMG's and the Famas/M16/G11 will be the best assault rifles.

And with the news about QS going away and about how the zoom won't go to center it seems as though snipers will be not be as good. Unless there are big maps with some good coverage that is. But I feel QS was a great skill to have. If someone ended up flanking your team and you had to scope in quick and try to get the kill it was great. When people always tried to QS it was a bit annoying. But any good team should be able to beat a pretty good QS'er. So I believe the game will mostly be ruled by MP5K's/AK 74U's and Famas/M16/G11. And there will not be as many people using Snipers or shotguns.

Basically what I'm trying to say is that from category to category the guns will be pretty balanced. But the guns within that category won't. There will always be that one most powerful gun. Obviously there will be people using a variety of different guns but once the game is out for a few months the game will be dominated by a certain few weapons.

I'm not whining but I'd rather have the guns in each category decently balanced then having them completely remove QS'ing.

Ya the game isn't out yet so I can't tell for sure. But it was just an observations. I'm completely open for discussion. Just wanted to let people know my thoughts and hopefully people will share there thoughts on the topic.

Yea mp5 looks pretty damn good 4 begining gun

Ya. With Steady Aim Pro it'll be amazing. As the Pro ability reduces recoil. But I guess we will have to wait for the game to come out. I just don't want everyone to be using basically the same gun. It'll make the game boring quicker.

Forreal. Ima still try to be quickscoping its just gonna be harder.. ha. And if that doesn't work im playing mw2! *ends rant* but yeah each cod obviously has had its gun that rules the game.. and i dont think thats easy to fix so a few guns will be used by most

nah, i feel the only reason your saying that is because most of the gameplay we have seen has only been using the ak74,mp5k and the famas.
secondly the wager matches will force you to use certain weapons so you dont have to worry about unbalance there. aswell as if you watch some mac11 vids, the mac11 looks better or equal to the ak74 and mp5k. also most guns dont all have the same attachments like in mw2 where the attachments were almost all the same in each catagory. so people will try to use a gun that they want to customize in their fashion. and the m16 in this game looks balanced and not overpowered like in mw2. it doesnt take one burst to kill someone with it, takes 2 minimum of what i seen.

Yeah, Ak74u does look pretty overpowered..

they have also ****ed with the sniper damgae. I watched a video on all the snipers and the only gun that got a 1 shot kill was the L9A6 or whatever which is also the only Bolt action sniper.

Its official, Treyarch have now bloody gone and screwed it up. The community should i themselves make a better game then the now crappy creators of the call of duty series. They have made it too complicated.

How dare josh Olin say quickscoping givess you an advantage!! Its a disadvantage. So we can't quickscope but you can still **** around playing with bloody Second CHANCE AND NOOBTUBES!!!!!

Yea i agree with that, there is no need for last stand/ second chance, if your gunna get shot in the head your gunna die not drop to the floor with an automatic m9 and kill anybody in 2 hits, OH and they nerfed the tubes so they don't do as much damage, don't refill after scavenger, don't refill if you die (i heard that, dont know if its true) and are disabled for the first minute of the game, so no Hardcore SnD nerds pro piping across the map or groundwar nerds trying for a killstreak, Noob tubes are also the most expensive attacthment O.o
