(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); According to an article on CVG this is going to be the most emotional Call of Duty of date.

Call of Duty: Black Ops will be Treyarch's most emotional Call of Duty to date, according to Treyarch director Dave Anthony.

Black Ops' opening scene is a particularly stressful one as main character Alex Mason is tortured for information.

"It was a very deliberate choice, we want the player to immediately be able to relate to him," Anthony explained to The Associated Press.

"The first scene is very tense for the character. We thought that if the player himself was feeling what the character was going through right at the start of the game, it would really create a connection with the character."

Anthony suggested that as far as Treyarch is concerned, there's more of a focus on relationships in Black Ops than any other Call of Duty the studio has worked on.

"The emotional focus that we've given Mason is more than we've ever done before for a character in a 'Call of Duty' game," he said.

"As you go through the story, you will see how Mason's relationships with the other characters in the game change as you go back and forth from the interrogation room."

"You will actually realize how it all comes together."

I think this sets this game's singleplayer up to maybe rival the multiplayer or zombies. I guess we'll see when the game comes out Info from Black ops247
